Anthony,I got a regular Caly III first to make sure I liked the knife enough to invest in the CF ZDP.I absolutely did and soon after got the CF.To date it's my favorite Spydie and is in my pocket just about every day I'm not at work.As far as staining is concerned,I haven't noticed any on mine.

Whatever needs to be cut...certain Spyders are designated "beater Spydies" so they'll see more abuse than others...hawkbills are great for ripping right thru those annoying clamshell packs... :D Agent Starling You said it Starling...on Christmas morning, right beside my cup of coffe...

My kids refer to my CF CalyIII as the "splinter remover".They and my nieces claim that I offer the most painless splinter removal service around. :D

Nice job Copilot, keep up the good work. The Brown belt blues are real...after training hard for a long time and achieving my third brown in Shotokan Karate,I tested for and failed my black. After suffering a broken bone in my foot,my training waned,I lost intertest and I never went back. It's something...

Dug up a couple of pics of my Fatboy,or "Sluggo" as I used to call it.It was originally Patriot Red Pearl but I had it painted by a friend of mine.I designed the paint and he did it for me.After running the flame job for a few years I decided to go back to the basics and ordered brand new ...

Here's a couple of chilly FRN Natives and a SS Delica.Although they weren't used for any cutting,I'm pretty confident there wouldn't be a problem.

You bet. I had an '86 Ninja 1000 too. That was the old ZX-1000R model, IIRC. Looking back at some of the sportbikes I've owned in the past, they seem so crude by today's standards. For example, the bike I rode before my R1 was a 1995 FZR1000. Very fast bike, but it was heavy (by today's standards) ...

I'm "between bikes" right now.I started in 1990 with a '87 Kawasaki EX 500.It was a great starter bike and I rode it for one season before moving into a '86 Ninja 1000R.Next was a '92 Harley Davidson FXRS Lowrider and my last was a 1992 FLSTF Fatboy.I sold my Fatboy in 2001 with 75000 kms ...

I used the term a few days ago in a thread I started, perhaps it was that one that caught your eye.To me,"scary sharp" is simply a figure of speech refering to the knife being extremely sharp. In my case I was using it to illustrate my concerns about a child getting ahold of mine. This situat...

tortoise, you have raised an excellent question. This is an issue that my good buddy flipe8 and I have discussed at length many times. I have had about 15 or so Spydies give or take.At timesI have moved a number of them to be able to buy one expensive knife. What invariably I find happening however is ...

The travelling ATR.

Two nights ago we responded with EMS to a 40 year old man not conscious, barely breathing. When we got on scene,an unsuccessful attempt was made to intubate him (insert a breathing tube). His condition rapidly worsening, and seeing signs of posturing, the decision was made to load him in the ambulance as...
