Re: pocket ceramic for serrations
https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details/303F/Pocket-Stone-Fine/85 Are the corners "sharp enough" to sharpen serrations in the recommended style? Most of the seration sharpeners come to a more acute point than a right angle. Hi, no offense but there is plenty of threads about this. To you...

Re: pocket serration sharpener
CBN Ceramic Doublestuff prooved to be great sharpening “multitool” stone. Probably the best buy of this year Where do you buy that? I don’t see it here: https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/category/sharpeners Sorry about that. Product is named Spyderco Double Stuff 2. Buy from reputable dealery (e.g. ...

Re: What are your top 5 favorite steels?
I love more "basic" steels. Bellow descending from most favorite: VG10 - My most favorite due to ease of sharpening and very decent edge holding capabilities CPM S30V - All time staple of my collection, just love how keen and aggressive edge it holds for good period of time CTS BD1N - oh b...

Re: Slip its - Squeak, Urban blade variations idea
A Squeak with a less spoon shaped blade would get my attention, wharncliffe or not. Thanks Doc, I agree. Squeak is great ergonomical design, very practical knife reminding me old Navigator\Pegasus. Slightly dropped tip would be beneficial for daily use but as well thought about Reverse S or Wharnie...

Slip its - Squeak, Urban blade variations idea
Dear Spydiehollics from Spydiewille, just had a quick idea if in far future someone would be interested, and if it would be possible, to have more variations of those great slip it designs. I had this peculiar, surreal dream where I used my reverse S squeak to cut out from piece of steel wharncliffe...

Re: One for trouble and one for fun?
Always two or three knives on me even though all are most of the time folders. One for food and general small cutting tasks, PPT or SE Delica as dedicated SD knife.

Re: The most "standard" spyderco pocket knife in 2022 ?
Delica and Endura in a past, currently I would say Native - best price performance ratio I would say. ... Debatable resp. subjective imo: The Native 5 is a great looking design with an amazingly executed backlock, no doubt! I personally still prefer the Delica (or actually even more so the Salt 2 f...

Re: Favorite Lock?
Backlock followed by liner lock. I love backlock but hate rock lock though. Only Spyderco without rock lock in my collection would be Native 5 which is extremely solid - better construction of lug and blade cutout on Native than on Delica\Endura. Military linerlock is probably my favorite. I have to...

Re: Polestar/Alcyone in BD1N
Sal, I have to say I am extremely excited about Alcyone and Polestar to be honest. Liked the design but steel was always the culprit for not making the purchase to be honest - Used to have Polestar in CTS BD1 but edge holding was not pleasing (worse than 8cr13Mov), gave it to my Mothers partner (LEO...

Re: Native 5 S110V vs S90V
I would say, given your experience with s110v, that CPM S90V would be more enjoyable for you. I can get my S90V scary sharp and it just keeps that bitey edge for very long period of time. My humble sharpening setup for past 15 years is dmt diafold coarse and extra coarse, sharpmaker with diamond and...
