one of the major differences, in my opinion, is the steel... the 8Cr13MoV is a good steel, and not bad at all considering the price for these knives... I gave my son a Persistence (Spyderco but made in China) and he is very impressed with the overall fit and finish... like always, with quality compa...

as a fellow 'newbie' who has been around a while, but new to this board... I say welcome!

I carry a Millie... have since 1996... I too like my ZT MUDD, and my Strider SMF... but I just keep picking up the Millie!

That opening 'snap-click' is the best sound around!

I opened a box today from CSI (my wife thinks it is from work) and there is my new Zulu! I love the looks of this knife... built solid like the PPT... smooth action and great grip... I like the blade... I will probably carry this one for a month or so... then rotate back to my standby Millie for a w...

I still have my bolt-action Gerber 'blade trader' (sits in a drawer) - the lock design is first quality - I have been surprised that it hasn't been used more... and voila! here it is! (and I have 3 on preorder!) bolt-lock = smooth!

I edc my millie... have for years... I own a few Striders and some larger Benchmades - I like having them... but I carry a Spyderco Military... (combo-edge) - If there could be, say, a 'Millie 2' - with an overbuilt compression lock... double thick blade... G-10 with titanium liners... and a clip......

My wife asks... and I wave my hand across and say "these are not the knives you are looking for"

she looks at me, shakes her head, and goes out to tend to her horses... (now THAT is an expensive hobby!)

The only CF knives I don't have are the CF Delica, Police, and Civilian...

of all the others... the Sage 1 (which I paid $80.00 for) is my favorite! I love the feel of the CF, the shape of the blade...

however, I edc my old Military PS S30V 90% of the time...

I have several knives that I consider to be about as well designed and functional as humanly possible... and I carry them based on my needs and the situation I am going into... for many years, a SAK was all I carried on a daily basis... but it is hard to defend yourself in a bad situation with tweez...

I find the grip off... primarily because I have large hands... I am tall, and longer handles (re Millie and Para) are important to me...

I used to be a big fan of the Lum Chinese. It's thin, light, and a great slicer. Shame the ergonomics are non-existent in my opinion. I am hoping the larger G-10 Lum Chinese has a better 'feel' in my hand... I love the Lum, it just doesn't fit my hand as well as others... My wife thinks that the Ph...

I try to carry my other knives (Striders, Sebenzas, many Spydercos) and I always come back to the Military PS G-10 S30V - I have several (I lose things occasionally) so I am not afraid to use it... it didn't cost a fortune (see above) so I have no problem with being afraid to 'mark it up a bit' - an...

I have won several spyderco knives (and a SE D-2 Para) from the seller you are referring to... is there something I should know? I notice that several members of this board are listed in his feedback as well...

just wondering
