Take care. Those Kiwis really are sharp and very bloodthirsty. I've been bitten quite a few times, and they cut deep.

Nice pictures btw :)

It might as well be stuck or lost in the postal system somewhere; i've had that happen as well. if that is the case, i hope you had the mail insured.

good luck

The only ones being labeled terrorists are people who strap bombs to themselves, and drive planes into buildings with thousands of innocent people inside. Open your eyes. Oh, that's right...you want a nice, civilized war. Right now you may be right. But take a look at other governments. I fail to r...

Kill 'em all, let god sort 'em out. That's the right way to do it, isn't it? We have a moral responsibility to do this. By the way, why shouldn't we torture criminals as well? After all, it might save lives in one case or another. We should give it a try. But why stop there? The possiblities are end...

The argument that there is a moral responsibility to torture lacks reciprocity. It's as simple as that. Go read a book by William K. Frankena, maybe you'll understand the underlying principle of morals and ethics. Another thing to consider: Civilians fighting to protect their country do not have to ...

Vincent, I guess you used hot water to clean it. My G10 handles look just like that after cleaning them with hot water. Just use some kind of oil - doesn't matter what kind, just use one that's smelling good [militec, mineral oil, olive oil... - your choice] - and it will look like new again. Nothin...

Are you suggesting that a MBC-Rated lock is nothing more than a slipjoint? If this is the case these days, I guess I will not buy production folders anymore, but invest my money in customs where the maker will tell me that his knife won't fail a spinewhack and is something more than a slipjoint. Tha...

I guess it's a somewhat hot topic. whatever you do or say, you get burned. I got both the Manix and the BM 710 to fail. Used a wooden stick, and held the knife w/ two (2!) fingers. I guess I must have plenty strong fingers if that is called abuse.

Dunno what to do with this now...

get a second torx. get a second torx for the other screws as well, just in case. see if it adjusts with a second torx. if not, strip it. put it back together. invest half an hour for this, it's a bit tricky, but you're a smart kid, you'll be able to handle it.

Hold the bottle firmly in one hand, and open it with the back of the blade or even the handle. Works the same way as opening a bottle with a lighter.

Wrong again. Both the Dodo and my Axis knives have no play up/down. Bladeplay sideways isn't really due to the lock, and can be set to a specified amount [up to zero] by turning the pivot screw.

i dont think it's attention-seeking. I believe it's simply a missunderstanding of the clip-fuction. i've had a couple people do that with donated/lent our knives, they simply dont understand the clip goes outside and the knife inside the pocket.

Quite interesting. Dickies used to be [or are? i dont know...] considered fashion here, mostly by skaters. they'd retail for WAY more than 17$ a pair. about 80-90€ if not more.

i dont wear dickies. i dont want the word d*ck on my clothes unless it's my underwear :)

Just for the record, and to clarify: Being expensive, especially when it comes to clothes and 'fashion' does not equal quality. There's absolutely nothing wrong buying cheap jeans if they do the same or a better job. One should reconsider though that if they're not doing as well as a good pair, it m...
