Re: What do you think of metal handles?
I do love the old school Spyderco stainless handle knives. The stainless police was always iconic to me. I know more modern versions have been made but not the one I have wanted since I first bought my Titanium Military. I carry a Spydiechef everyday all day now. I love the spydiechef but sometimes ...

Re: Spy 27 or ZDP189 or K390
K390 is good stuff. The Police 4 LW in K390 will hopefully be getting dropped soon, so you'll get another chance to get that sweet bladeshape in a nice feeling handle with that awesome steel. I had a G10 P4 in K390 when they first dropped. I kinda kick myself for selling it these days, but I honest...

Re: Spy 27 or ZDP189 or K390
Personally I really want to try K390 myself. I missed out on picking up a G10 Police in K390 and I still kick myself for missing out.

Swords slice really well if you have the right geometry with enough mass and velocity at the right point on the blade to carry the blade through the target. LMAO! Lynn T, is that you? :p I wish I had his bank account but other than that I take offense to that. :D I have higher quality and material ...

Lmao no doubt, gunna have to go rewatch Braveheart now :D You're welcome. Don't forget to watch the Witcher series and if you feel like a trip to the early 90's with it's list of awesome movies check out American Samurai. Terrible acting but not the worse I have seen and the weapon play is about th...

Re: Wrist Clocks
That is the downside to tritium is the fact it has a half-life. I have night sights that have dead tritium in them. 10-15 years is about the longest I have ever had tritium last. If a high quality lume is applied with tritium then you have a backup when it goes out. Also the lume with help until you...

Re: Sal, Can we get CPM 15v?
I will say I would love to get folder in CPM-15v. Looking at everything I will say CPM-1v-CPM-15v has everything thing I would need for different blades I use. I have a machete in CPM-1v that make 1075 and 1095 machetes look like crap in toughness and edge holding. Two things I do with my new machet...

I’ve never been into watches, and am never far from a phone, iPad or car, but this is a treasured timepiece of mine, dating from c1650-1680. I have no interesting stories about it, but would sure like to hear about what it has seen over the centuries. 95D18360-0A80-40A1-9697-70A8AD89169B.jpeg It st...

One G-shock I have always wanted was the GMWB5000GD-1. It reminded me of the first watches I had as a kid but it's in steel which is what I remember always wanting back then instead of the plastic ones I had at the time.

Eventually they were sold to Citizen in 1979. Bulova was sold to the Loews Corporation in 1979. Loews Corporation sold it to Citizen Holdings Corporation in 2008. I really like Bulova's Precisionist line. I really like the 96B175. Overall I love the history of different companies and how they have ...

The thing, I prolly like best about this MudMaster is that she syncs with the Atomic Clock in Denver, Co. every night. About as perfect time keeping as can be I reckon. https://i.postimg.cc/Nj35tcxR/20190627-085535.jpg The radio controlled feature is one of my favorites. I wish the Citizen Promaste...

I have a few okay watches, Seiko, Citizen, Traser, Movado. I haven't worn a watch since I started wearing a Xiaomi Mi Band. Well, not entirely true, The Mi Band 4 wasn't waterproof, so I'd wear my Traser when I was going to swim, but all other times except when I need to dress up (Movado), I wear a...

The Spydiechef has been the only knife I have carried for about the last 2 years or so. I LOVE IT A LOT!!!!! An XL version would be EPIC!!!!!! I would have two pocket knives to carry daily after that

Very nice Citizens though. One is well loved with many stories to tell, and the new one will last even longer. Citizen makes great watches, and is just behind Seiko and Orient on my list, though they sell far more than both. Aficionados still lean toward automatics (Citizen Miyotas are great exampl...

Pocket knives and watches are two very personal items for some of us. Not everybody wears a watch anymore due to modern cellular phones. I have worn a watch a lot longer than I have had a cellular phone in my 35 years in existence. My first watch was a cheap casio digital quartz watch. I went throug...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
Your day is coming Sir!! Just be ready with cash in hand because I don't look for this Sprint Run to last very long at all. I really think that in less than two months they will all be sold out ( PE & SE both). And it might be quicker than that. I will be ready. It will be available in LC200N r...
