After a whole thread bashing them I will say one nice thing before I go, they had the best price in town and the knife got here.
I would agree with this. It arrived, and the price was good. Mine was in a priority mail box (good), but also no padding (not good).

Re: Has anyone used Wylaco Supply Company?

Mine arrived from Wyalco today. SE. Shipping was fine, although I had similar issues with the tracking that was provided going to UPS instead of USPS. Ordered on the 15th and it arrived today, nicely boxed. Probably not my favorite ordering experience, but not bad. I wouldn't hesitate to use them ag...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

I am not familiar with the Ayoob, are there any reasons for the peculiar orientation of the handle with respect to the blade? I would imagine doing push cuts would be awkward with the handle in this orientation? For utility work, the negative blade angle and curve of the blade makes pull cuts (open...

Re: CTS-204P Shaman

That's a beautiful knife. I've got the old school PM2 and Military exclusives from KW. The Military in particular is one of my favorites. Great colors and exceptional steel.
But I've got to pass since I've already got 2 Shamans that aren't carried nearly enough.

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

... Thanks Budda! I was going to pass on this one, but Sal's insight about the maker pushed me back into the Buy column. Got a serrated one on the way from Wyalco. Same here, thanks! Don't want to clutter this thread unnecessarily (but will do so anyway)... My Caly 3/3.5s are wonderful knives, and ...

Wow, Dazen, super generous of you!
Those are two excellent Mules, and I am a big fan of those scales. I already have these two Mules, so will stay out of the GAW.
Good luck all, and good on you Dazen!

Re: Stretch XL discussion

So I will give you my thoughts on the knife Humint, great review and commentary on your use! Thanks so much for writing it up! Not too much to add that you haven't already added. I very much enjoy my S2XL PE, and went through a similar "this is too light to be strong enough" phase, but al...

I'm sure many have seen this, but I had not. Good article about the origins of Spyderco. Nothing that I didn't already know, but was definitely an interesting read.

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

SFO always sells out so fast because of the OPFocus buyers. I agree with RS, there should be plenty of opportunities to buy this one, especially serrated edge. He also brings up a good point about those serrations, that looks unacceptable. I personally wouldn’t accept it, at least. I’d hope it’s a ...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

What's the concensus (hahahaha, the what?!?) on the D2 SPEW or the Artisian Sea Snake! Since seeing both, I've decided I've got to have a Wharncliffe fixed, and these seem perfect.
I'm leaning towards the Sea Snake, as I like the lines better.
Thoughts?

Re: "Knife People" more price sensitive?

For myself, it's a two part answer: First, having focused on this niche market for over a decade now, I am very familiar with the prices of the knives - both Spyderco specific pricing and industry wide pricing for a given set of design/materials/country of origin. Knowing what the price range should...
