Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

I just ordered a couple more gun parts and went ahead and added the Kershaw Link in 20cv to the order...for only $65.95, I thought I'd give it a try. It's a solid little knife. A couple months ago I cleaned up and sharpened one for a friend of mine. I'd have no problem spending that much for some 2...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

I could definitely handle Christmas... gives me some time to build some knaf funds. My only concern remains getting a fair shot at buying these sprints without taking two days off from work. With the revision to the whole reveal process, I'm relying on the forums and this thread to give me a heads u...

Pro tip: If you're in the medical field trying to do a minor surgery on your leg with your PM2 and you think you've cleaned it thoroughly with dish soap, you'll get a staff infection. Don't use your edc for that... :rofl
I wouldn't get my EDC anywhere near my staff.

Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..

has anyone tried dying the blue scales on the tenacious lightweight? i'm wondering how they'll take dye. From what I've seen you can only dye a darker color. They're a fairly deep blue, so I think you could get a decent purple with them (maybe red dye or purple mixed with red?), or a darker green, ...

As far as I can tell, seems to just be a reward for people testing mules in meaningful ways and contributing to the discussion. So just keep doing what you're doing, I guess.

Re: Sharpening a Mule

Just sharpened my PD1 mule for the first time last week using my Sharpmaker. Factory edge lasted me literally 1 year of box opening and cardboard breakdown. I'm not skilled nor experienced with sharpening, but it seemed pretty quick and painless for decent results. I won't be whittling hair anytime ...

Toughness and Edge Retention are inversely related to hardness... All things being equal, you will see less toughness and more edge retention with more hardness. I guess the way I said it was confusing. Toughness and Edge Retention have an inverse relationship to each other as hardness changes. My ...
