I just used a rotating disk cutter to cut the wave of , and then a round file to give the wave his final form. It didn't took me long to do it. Then i used the steel punch and punch each hole individualy with a hammer. Then i adjusted the tension of the two scales to make it flip open again easely. ...

Nope, its a modified origional Ronin sheath. Due to the overly large design I had to delete some of the carry options (neck carry) and open up the finger hole in the sheath. Can you please post a picture of your sheath. The reason for the mod in the first place is the fact that the sheath was too cu...

The blade looks weak, but that's how the comet shaped thumbhole is made. I don't know how i could have waved it without more loss of blade. I had to choose between having a large enough wave, and strenght of the blade. I could have made the wave smaller, but it would have caused less reliabilty and ...

My pimped Byrd Crossbill !

I modified my Byrd Crossbill to suit my needs and as a try out.
I waved the blade, it's very functional both in quickdraw and slow. I also dimpled the lefthand scale to enhance grip and thransferred to tip up.
Opening is very smooth, bot with the wave as with the thumbhole.

What do you guys think?

Ronin modification

I modified my Ronin to suit my preferences more.
I rounded the edges, cut of the loop off, enlarged the fingerhole in the sheath, and attached a static line to the sheath.

Anyone with other mod's?

Iirc the whole "seal knife " is a hoax. There have been test conducted in the past to search for a standard seal knife. I believe there was one winner, but can't recall who it was. Spyderco never entered into the test, and now seals buy their own knives. I believe the Military is a very go...
