I might be 3 years too late, but is this version ever going to come back, or is available somewhere?

Re: Golden made CF/S90V SLIPIT’s
I would love a CF/S90V UKPK and an Urban made in Golden. It seems to be an incredible combo coming out of the Golden factory and I don’t see how the UKPK hasn’t followed suit. I would also like to see the Urban manufacturing moved to the US along side the UKPK, and get the same treatment. Who’s wit...

Re: Your Delica 5
I hear the terms "actual handle" and "usable grip area" a lot on here lately. While I understand that some prefer knives without choils, I definitely disagree that the choil is not part of the "actual handle" or "usable grip area". Call it semantics, but I us...

Re: Your Delica 5
Just read this thread a bit. Will we have the 5th iteration of the classic in the next few years? A couple of things I would change on the existing: - change from clip to wire, or a new one designed completely from scratch - back of the handle closer to Delica 3 / Salt 1 / picture in this thread pre...

Re: Native 5 Salt does not close when back-lock pressed
Just got my Native 5 Salt. When the back-lock is pressed, the blade action does not fall down, but is still fully opened. I have to manually press the blade down. Is this normal and will the action ever be smooth? My PM2 action is silky smooth. Loosen the screw behind lock button on the handle. Had...

Wondering if someone has a review of BBS M390 Delica after some longer use, if there are such.

Re: Let's talk pocket wear...
One of the reasons I'm buying and looking exclusively on Spyderco is pocket wear. I used to carry Cold Steel Mini Recon 1 in my pocket for a while a couple of years back. The clip thinned my back pocket quite a bit, but that was not the problem. The problem were the thumb studs. As they are sticking...

Re: lil native salt...?
Lil native salt lightweight se backlock. I would be all over it. Two things. Give it jimping and put me in the backlock camp. This in a nutshell. FRN, jimping, wire clip, backlock. PE and SE. Blacked out. And a little bit more contouring on the edges. As for black blade, not sure how much is this n...

Re: Choosing Delica 4 FFG variant
After seeing this, I went to the original post to see if I had missed anything. After seeing that I didn't miss anything from the OP, I looked further down the thread and saw this other stipulation, and yes I missed it. You are easily confused. After thinking about it, I stand by my recomendation. ...

Re: Choosing Delica 4 FFG variant
Sorry guys, not looking at non- stainless, and wood handles are too much maintenance. Knifeworks ships to the US only (S90V is also fine). Basically looking between those 3 models from the first post. I was only dissapointed that standard VG10 one price got so close to supersteel. Though the M390 wi...

Re: Choosing Delica 4 FFG variant
As for shipping costs from the US to Europe: There are companies who offer an US post box for free, so you only pay the shipping costs inside USA (if there are any) and then the knife gets forwarded to you for around 10 to 15 USD... I used "myus.com" for that, but fellow forum member arch...

Re: Choosing Delica 4 FFG variant
Hi pantagana. I saw your profile and it says Croatia. Are you seeing prices from the USA or inside the EU? I believe you can get better deals on the standard Delica from one of Europe's Amazon. Do you have a sharpmaker? If that's the case it's easy to sharpen serrated edges. Mostly looking on eBay....

Re: Choosing Delica 4 FFG variant
I am sure you´re aware of that the Salt 1 you own features the "old", shorter, and differently shaped Delica-handle? So the Delica 4 will have different ergos, which I personally really love, but some don´t like the placement of the finger grooves. That being said: Since you have a more &...

Choosing Delica 4 FFG variant
For the past 10 years I've been mostly ignoring Delica, as it aesthetically didn't appeal to me, but I've been using my Salt 1 lately, as it's the only knife I can rinse in alcohol after usage (Covid-19 conditions :D ), and said to myself: what the ****, I want to try Delica, its handle will fit my ...

Re: Back locks with edges going all the way to the handle
Hi Pantagana, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and pictures. Pictures always help. But, with all due respect, Blade to handle ratio is not a measurement of function. It is a measurement of visual preference and not one to which I pay any attention. A scalpel would not perform any better if the b...
