para 3 - lanyard tube and aftermarket replacements?

I finally got around to swapping the scales on my rex 45 - from orange to blurple. Thanks again @spydersense for the scales. I sanded the scales down, which I realize is an odd preference. After I reassembled the knife, I realized that by smoothing out the texture, I had taken 1-1.5mm off each scale...

Interesting - austenitic steel using Mn rather than nickel or chromium. High mechanical strength. Don't see anything about holding an edge...

Re: Please help me fix my urban pivot

Here's another option: The "D" shaped liners are very difficult to reproduce when making aftermarket scales for these FRN knives. (The internal spacers and standoffs also present their own challenges to replicate) I was able to do it with some very delicate chisel work on one set of wood s...

Do you have a link? I can't find anything on their site. Smock's own video said it was currently tip up r hand.

It may. The video from BladeHQ shows a different clip hole pattern from the mid-year catalog, including left and right tip-up carry.

Re: Smock Flipper

Anyone else notice that the clip configuration in this video and the mid-year catalog is different form the clip in the BladeHQ video? The BladeHQ shows a standard three scree clip, with the knife tapped for right or left tip up carry.

Re: Canadian UKPK

I have some cuscadi scales for the UKPK - they do a great job designing around the hinge points molded into the frn. Lots of other custom scale makers aren't interested in replacing frn scales for this reason.

Re: 2018 Forum Knife?

I like the idea of a forum knife to celebrate a fellow forumite. I think the Jazz delica in goldenrod is certainly a contender - I just worry that it may get a bit overlooked with the hap-40 version coming (soon?) as well as all the v-toku2. If it were linerless g10, then it would be a distinctly di...

My bad, a Delica, not an Endura. I swear I can read. And a 2006.
With the angle of the phote, the delica dwarfs the caly jr. and looks like and endura for sure :o

Love the old blue that came with zdp. Hopfully the V-toku will be similar.
