I'll find out what the RC is, I should have thought to ask. I spent last night guarding our 911 tower due to the heightened status of alert. I spent the time to familiarize myself with the knife. The more I handle it, the more I like it. The construction is awesome, I especially like the dual nested...

Fed Ex dropped off my Blade-Tech Wegner today. This knife kicks all form of ***. I'll do a more detailed review later, but my first impressions are very positive.

The Fed-Ex truck just dropped off my Blade-Tech Pro Hunter. Wow!!!! It does have posts instead of the steel spacer. It is constructed like the Military, except that it has TWO nested liners instead of just one. Fit and finish are excellent. No blade play in any direction. The pictires do not do this...

It was originally going to be called the Tracker or Trakker. The prototypes were BG-42 with green G-10. The scales had "pugs" on them. I was fortunate enough to get a prototype. The production version was going to have 154CM steel and FRN scales with the "pugs" molded in. It spor...

One of the first things I learned about Spyderco is not to go by looks. Don't get me wrong, they have made some beautiful knives. Spyderco seems to believe that form follows function. The beauty of Spyderco is in handling and using them. I have been looking foward to the ATR since I saw it two Blade...

I always thought the discontinued full sized Wegner was the most under rated. What a knife. The design and execution were excellent.

What is the Mouse II?

Is the ATR Spyderco's new flagship model?

I asked this before and got mixed responses, with many stating the Military will remain Spyderco's flagship. With the ATR being an in house design, with state of the art features and high tech materials, will it be the new flagship model?

Which 2003 model(s) are you most anticipating?

For me its the long awaited ATR. The Chinook II is also on my short list, along with the Ronin and SS Cricket.

I believe the new and improved Chinnok is drilled and tapped for tip up or down carry, left and right side. It looks plenty better as well. I can't wait to get one of these.

I have the entire set. Use them every day. I think they offer a lot of value. One could get by without the set. I just have them all because I love Spyderco. I would get the chef's knife, the santuko, and a utility to start with. I also recommend the "world's greatest knife block, from A.G. Rus...
