I believe it is an improvement. The lock is stronger, the blade opens smoother than the original. The bladeplay issue seems to be resolved. The knife is a little lighter. What was the concept of the Chinook?
I've got one of the Chinook II's on the way. Looks like an awesome folder. Can anyone discuss, in detail, what Mr. Keatings vision of a fighting folder is and how it the Chinook embodies that vision? I have been told there was an article in Fighting knives that discussed his vision.
