I understand completely. Even being very new to collecting Spydies, I somehow knew early on that the Stretch had to be among my first few ( came in about #4 of my current 8 ;) ). Also, I'm very happy with the FRN, I think it makes the knife much more "toter-freindly" than it might be with ...

.....But that being said, I would of thought the Para 2 was huge a couple of years ago so I guess you just never know. Same here. I've long been into small,unobtrusive,very lightweight knives, but since being bitten by "The Bug", I'm finding a tolerance for larger and heavier blades. Also...

That's very interesting,because I have an annoyingly abrasive action on my Delica CE, and had concluded the problem was exactly the same thing.
It's only detectable on a small spot, at about 3/4 of the way open, but I'm confident it was the same anomoly,in the same place.
