FWIW, if I get anything in ZDP, I've pretty much decided it'd most likely be the Caly 3 ;) .

A little while back, someone here mentioned having the same problem. They said they sent theirs back to Spyderco and they re-profiled it for them and just charged their standard $5.00 fee.

Just pulled trigger on all-black PM2 from CS !!!

I just saw that CutleryShoppe has "a small batch in-stock" of the all-black paramilitary2's. I've recently been looking long and hard at them, but from other operations, especially Amazon, so when I saw they were in-stock, at my favorite dealer, and at an even better price of $109, I decide...

Thanks again to all for the quite useful and most civil replies ( honestly,I was half expecting to get misunderstood as having condemned the DF2, which wasn't at all the case.) So ,taking the advice of several of you,I again carried the DF2 as a back-up,today. I tried the back-pocket carry ( thanks ...

Just rambling outside the box here, but how about one of those old WaterPiks with a 50/50 water and vinegar solution? Followed immediately by a water-displacing WD-40 bath, then your favorite lube. :D http://www.amazon.com/WaterPik-WP-60W-Personal-Dental-System/dp/B000063SLR/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&...

I'm in the same boat as the OP, but I'm waffling not just over WHICH Spydie to get next, but whether I should get another at all ( at least, any time soon). That being said, I already put the best deal I could find on a camo/black PM2 into my "favorites",( and am about one drink away from ...

Thanks for the perspectives, guys. Keep in mind, I'm not *****ing about the knife, not at all, I'm just rambling and ruminating here. And, I'm not even considering returning it,especially since shipping could run me nearly a quarter of what it cost me. It's just that I'm not as tickled with it as I h...

I had the same impression of the Ladybug the first time i held one. I laughed and said "this knife is HOW MUCH?". I own two of them now and i'm planning on buying a couple Manbugs when i get the spare cash. You'll eventually find that having a small knife on you as a backup/partner to you...

Love my H-1 Dragonfly, perfect for butterflying shrimp. Yep, I definately can see that. I actually pondered long and hard over getting an H1 D2 instead, but as I haven't been living and working in the Caribbean for several years now, and don't expect to again, I just couldn't justify that one over ...

If you like the Dragonfly design but wish for a little more heft, check out the G-10 D'fly. It's my favorite of the Dragonfly family. Yeah, I know, the G10 D-fly is very cool, but that's a lot of $$ for basically the same thing. My whining is not so much the lack of weight as the overall "dimu...

Just got a Dragonfly......but not feelin' the love....

Which is all the more disappointing, since it didn't arrive last Saturday as expected. I'm still at that tender, new stage of my Spydie-Obsession, so at this point I'm mostly just "covering the bases", or "sticking to the classics", if you will ;) . Anyway, I can cite no flaw what...

Like many things, it depends. Some "two screw" pivots are comprised of three pieces. Two screws both of which screw into a stepped pivot bolt. Others are really a screw and a hollow bolt. With the first, you need to unscrew both in order to fully disassemble the knife, with the second, it...

Hey Sal, any chance we can get an early hint of what other colors are coming, and especially, a rough estimate of when these may hit the market ?

Yes, thanks for the review, this knife has really caught my attention recently, possibly pushing aside some of the other popular 3.5"-ish blades, like the GB,PM2, new Manix,Caly3.5.
So many Spydercos........ ;)
