UKPK is already very close to an FRN Caly 3, so I'm very happy to hear the plans are for a 3.5 FRN.

Not to mention the 3.5 is one of my favorite designs, so, yeah, all grins here. I really do hope it comes to fruition. Colors, steels; I'll buy three each of however they are. :D

I've been beating on an M4 PM2 in the yard to see how the steel holds up. I let it get really dirty while using it but never put it away like that. It seems to me that pork yields better patina on K390 where beef was more effective on Superblue. It sounds weird, but I've found the same with respect to K390 & M4. For that indigo patina, M4 likes beef, K390 pork. From pan-fried boneless chops: http://u.cubeupload.com/seki_japan/k3901.jpeg
