Native in the House

I just received this one this afternoon. I got it in a trade and I'm very pleased. It's a GIN-1 in very lightly used condition, it even came with the box. What a great knife, I feel lucky to have gotten it. Regards Sonny http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/dilweed/123_2342.jpg [/IMG] http://i34.p...

I recall the same thing - but IIRC one of the concerns was that LEOs might think the colored pistols were toys leading to potentially dangerous hesitation but I could be wrong. Due respect but IMHO not even in the same church, let alone the same pew. I don't know, I think it's definitely the same C...

DLC is very hard for sure, the barrel and slide of one of my pistols is coated with Tungsten DLC and it's shown now wear after over 1000 rounds.

I'm kind of amazed that a Pink model is being produced. Not that there is a thing wrong with it in my mind, but I'm surprised some "advocate" hasn't stopped it, or won't stop it in the future. Reason being, a few years ago Kel-Tec firearms began manufacturing some brightly colored firearms...

Byrd Knives...Your kidding right?

OK, nothing negative at all, LOL. I just received my G10 Cara Cara today in the mail. I don't know how this knife can be sold for such a low price. Picking it up, handling it, working the lock, working the action, checking alignment on the scales, and everything else, just shows the quality of this ...

I started with Militec-1 but have been usuing Tuff Glide for the last 4 or 5 years. I like it because it lubes good and doesn't attract dirt. It does smell a little odd though....now if they could only make it smell like Hoppes #9 :D
Yep, if we could get the blade length limit bumped to 5" (so I could carry my Police model legally) and maybe a few other restrictions lifted, we might qualify as a free state ] Yeah, I'd like to see them up length limit a bit too. I got questioned once a tad bit ...

The only broken blade I've had was on a Benchmade, and it was on my mini-griptilian in 440. I have no idea how it happened but one day I opened my Grippie, and the tip of the blade was broken off! No, I never used it as a screwdriver, in fact at most all it's ever cut is maybe tape. It just broke of...

I would kind of figure the reaction considering the location and the liberal leaning and teachings of teachers. I was talking with a young lady the other day, that thought no one but Police should have firearms. I asked what she would do if someone broke into her house. She replied "nothing&quo...

Being another "lefty" on this forum, I'm glad to hear about any knives that can be adapted a little more toward left hand users. I passed on a couple of Benchmades yesterday because of their setup. I won't buy a knife that I have to shift it's position, once it's out of my pocket, to get i...
