Re: Trivia Question: What Spyderco Has A Clip As Long As The Blade?
I can tell you, the Lava’s clip is longer than its blade!

Re: Para3 - CPM-SPY27 now shipping!
Has anyone got theirs yet? Have they actually shipped? I’ve been checking dealers but no one seems to have any stock yet. I doubt KC got all of the first shipment...I gave up on them after a couple failed preorders. (I’ve heard good thing about ordering from them when they actually have stock, but ...

Re: Is SV30 Good for Cutting Coaxial Cables?
I wouldn’t use a knife for it on a regular basis at all. Personally I wouldn’t use s30v for it on an occasional basis either. In my experience it’s a great steel but would take damage quick cutting coax. I’d sooner go with Cruwear for occasional coax cuts. Now I can sat I wouldn’t hesitate to use my...

Re: Strongest EDC Steel?
You’re going to get a lot of different answers, especially without providing more info. What are your everyday cutting tasks? Do you live near saltwater, the list can go on and on. Where I live, and my needs do not require extreme corrosion resistance. My fav edc steel is Cruwear. I like 3v and even...

Re: Show your mods!
Been wanting to do this mod for a while now. Finally got around to it this Previously I had rounded the edges of the scales a little, acid stonewashed the clip and made a “mini choil” if you will, as I tend to use it as a utility knife with some fine cutting tasks where I like to pinch the blade wit...

Re: Swayback Lookout Thread
I’ve been looking forward to this one for a long time. Now although I actually agree that aesthetically a wire clip might actually be better on this knife, I much prefer spoon clips. They are more comfortable, have better retention and don’t move around. Also easy to replace with aftermarket clips. ...

Re: Let's talk pocket wear...
I typically wear my jeans out as fast as the pocket wears. If I get more than 6 months out of a pair of jeans I’m happy. But the odd time I get premature pocket wear, I use an iron on patch folded over the damage.

Re: Any dog lovers?
So that’s how dogs stay warm in Canada. Indeed! The white one, Sienna is husky crossed with who knows what, (I suspect some blue heeler in there) so she's good to go with our -40celcius winters. But Harley, a boxer/mastiff/who knows, has to wear boots and a jacket in the winter and still gets cold....

Re: Golden made no choil knife - edge all the way to handle
I’m not much a fan of edge all the way back to the handle on folders, it makes it far to easy to get crud in the pivot. I do like efficient use of space however so I prefer a finger choil to just a large sharpening choil or notch, at least then it’s there for a good reason even if I tend not to use ...

Re: Mule Team Survey
1) Did you purchase a Mule Team knife in the past? No, unfortunately not available in Canada unless I want to pay huge shipping or aftermarket prices. 2) Did you put a handle on it? If I ever get one, I’ve got some beautiful bocote waiting... 3) Did you make or buy a sheath? I’d likely buy a sheath,...

Just picked this guy up for my work bag, airsoft bag or family outings etc. I’ve had a number of occasions where I wished I had something like it so now I do. Just have to remember to bring it now!
