Broken tip or blunted?
Looks like you could work that out with a very slight modification and re-sharpening, perhaps?

Thanks, everyone for keeping this thread alive and inspiring all of us with new music. I've really enjoyed the posts and got turned on to some great music and musicians. I've yet to figure out the bug that inhibits me from embedding You Tube vids, but lately I've been on a bender of John Mayer Trio ...

I was visiting some dealer sites this evening and Blade HQ has both the Firefly and the Tatanka on their Spyderco page. Obviously not in stock yet but perhaps a hint that these two models are scheduled for release in the very near future?Pockets wrote:Me too!

Our dog picked up ticks frequently and our son loves to be in the woods, so I can tell you that in our experience nothing beats a good pair of tweezers. I'm not a fan of holding open flame to skin and the petroleum jelly method (covering the tick and waiting for it to die) doesn't work either as it ...

I love my Sage 1. But I haven't seen enough posts applauding the OPEN BACK construction! Maybe it's just me, but I love the ease of keeping an open back clean, no matter what. I'm looking through it right now and all I can see is sweet. Pull that plug! I agree with you on this and also feel that it...

Typically, I'm not keen on orange handle scales or bolsters but the combination here is very nice. A Liner Lock, VG10 Steel, blade shape and the diminutive dimensions of the knife all add up to a definite buy and try for me. I was happy to see that the clip is configurable in tip up position and whi...

Change is the only constant ;) If we are to remain sane readjustment and acceptness is a necesary thing :) Even though I have fewer knives I have the learned skill of making them sharp in part given to me by this forum :) I encourage all to learn the same because it's a skill that will outlive any ...

I really enjoy my CF, XHP Chaparral. It's such a great knife. The action on my example was a bit stiff (which I expected) though it wasn't gritty. I still decided to clean it thoroughly before carrying and lubed the pivot area with Tuf Glide which gave it a much smoother feel. After about a month of...
