I like Glocks, 1911s, and Sigs however, I'm really all about H&K. Specifically the USP and its compact models. They're expensive but every bit as reliable as a Glock but with an even smoother action that for me has always been dead on. Can't beat it!

I'd be very careful about polishing any of those things. Polishing removes material and will open up tolerances. I know a lot of guys do it anyway and may never have issues with it, but it's risky. Great review! I'm a big Native 5 fan myself. It is one of my go-to blades. You were spot on about the pocket clip, I fixed that with a Casey Lynch titanium pocket clip. The new clip didn't impact the great ergos either.
