Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

While I am sad I lost my Pac Salt, I am very glad I did not lose this one, which of course I don’t swim with!

$168 is a really good price for the S90v.
That’s for the LC200N version. I need to stay in salt territory.

Found this little guy while policing .22lr empties with the kids and cousins. 7 kiddos total shooting .22lr and bows! Great family vacation.

I’m so so tempted… but I’m on a bit of a rust proof kick these days. This form factor would make a superb salt series!

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Now then, time to recognize the opportunity before me. Should I replace it with another Pac Salt or a Siren 🤔 Assuming you have never owned a Siren, get that. New is good. Of course, there are a few people here waiting for some H1/H2 comparisons. So in the time honored tradition of this forum, get ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

I request a moment of silence for the knife no longer in my pocket. Amen. First time I have lost a knife from a Velcro-flapped back pocket. My blacked out SE H1 Pac Salt is at the bottom of a reservoir in West Virginia. An added surprise expense to an otherwise excellent trip! I hope whoever finds i...

Re: What watch you're wearing?

Gads, having to buy a new computer and deal with the new “way” of cloud-based software subscription licensing is worse than running over your own foot with a mower. I’d rather run over the computer with the mower and not look back! Bah!

Re: UKPK Salt now in Magnacut!

I do really enjoy the Slipit action on my Urban, but it’s a little small overall. So this knife has me very interested, as a Floridian around wet areas whenever possible. Gotta wonder, will the Swick switch over to MagnaCut?

Chicago is filed under “never ever go there”. Most large cities are. When I have a reason to drive to Iowa from Florida, I drive around Illinois.

I’m still so pleased with my Henson, I’m not looking at anything else. I would love to stumble on a Ti V2 ++, but I’m more interested in buying guitars and ukuleles at the moment 😎

I did not know “Art of Shaving” was a Proctor & Gamble gambit. Good riddance.

Would love to see pics of the new Spyderco straight, I’ll be digging to see if any are posted from the show.

Re: Show Your Tacos Bloke Dedication Thread !

Sounds like a good plan would be to install a separate transmission cooler so the radiator fluid can’t invade the tranny. I never liked that shared “cooling” “feature” on auto trannies. The best plan would be a standard transmission. Anybody still make those?

Here’s the latest chop I’ve come up with for the Shaman, Bombshell style! It’s almost the exact same length now as the Bombshell but has more handle/less blade because of the finger choil. I’ve been carrying it for the last two days since I did the chop and really love the size and feel of it. The ...
