Re: Manix LW Rex45 Issues
Mine is exactly the same. I have two other manix lightweights that are as they should be. One was a little tight out of the box but loosened up over a few days. My rex 45 m2lw is noticeably tighter than the others. It broke in a little bit, but is not close to the others in terms of blade action. I ...

Re: Boye dent poll. Let your voice be heard or be a sheep in a herd.
It depends on the design. If it can have one then Im okay with it. But I wouldnt want a good design changed in order to accommodate it. The native 5 is an example of this. Open a native 5 halfway and look at how far the lockbar is depressed. You cant really put a true boye dent on that lockbar. Then...

If the little metal circles were magnetic so they stayed together in the closed position, or stayed together in the open position, instead of the legs flopping all over when Im trying to write, then I might get another one.

Ive "rusted" lc200n but it cleans up like its nothing.
I have also had rust spots transfer onto h1 from the sheath of my aqua salt, even though the h1 steel wasnt rusting at all.
I guess Im saying theres a lot of different kinds of rust.

The lock on that model will get easier to use after its broken in.
With that said I still dont like it.
Looks great though.

Re: Legit vendor?
Look up the authorized dealears on the dealer locator on Spydercos website. Then look a little deeper to see if they will actually get the product, or are just saying they will.
If its not an authorized dealer then dont do it.

Re: Powerlock Manix XL
Yeah. My only complaint on the manix xl is the cbbl. With how I prefer to close the cbbl the handle just doesnt work with that lock. If it had a backlock or powerlock I would be all over it.

Was your lockup at 100%? Otherwise how did you have up and down play on a properly designed framelock?
I also have not heard of other peoples lockbar continuously wearing down like that.
Im wondering if something was not right on yours.

Re: Manix 3
It might be an unpopular opinion but the only thing I would want is a switch to a backlock. Every time I go to close a manix I cant help but notice its backlock roots. While the backlock is my preferred lock I only tolerate the bbl and cbbl. On the regular manix 2 size knife the cbbl isnt too bad, b...

Re: Neighbor's TV Wants To Pair Up W/ My Phone Via Wi-fi
Dont give it away so quickly. If you pair it to your phone can you turn the tv on and off? You could turn it on in the middle of the night at full volume for at least a few days.

Re: Para 3 S110V Rust
I dont think the liners and stop pin are the same steel as the blade, but they should be a stainless with good rust resistance.
Not sure. It does only take one little spot rusting to transfer rust to other areas.
