Watu is underappreciated, and cool design. A steal at clearance prices. Surprised the jazz Wharncliffe models in k390 got cut so soon. Figured they'd be the ideal configuration. I do love Spyderco allowing dealers to dig up the archives for exclusives. Allows people to experience models that were before their time.

Centofante 4 (and 3) are the most underrated models in the line up. I'd take a more textured scale update and an upgraded steel.

Blade hq's photo department has definitely given me a bad expectation vs reality hit. The frn light blue. (s90v) and frn mint green (m4) was way lighter in person than the photos.

All the N690 Urbans have the "correct" shape right? Only the k390s are "wrong"?

There's a dude in the UK that makes aftermarket scales. I don't like it as much after they shortened it, and the fine frn texture traps too much dirt, but it's still one of my favorites.

Flipper knives and front flipper knives - I guess flipper tabs double duty as a guard, but I find them in the way for cutting. Front flippers are finicky to me and takes too much effort to open "Acoustics" on knives - I guess it's cool when you knife makes nice thunk when you open it, but ...

The entire Spyderco Facebook group would be up your alley - stock knives are immediately rescaled and a patina is put on them

I did notice that Spyderco never really used 154CM much (I think just the hollow grind manix, and the ATS 34 spydercos), even when Benchmade, Microtech, and Emerson basically built their entire line ups on the stuff.

Is there any particular property of the steel that stands out?
