I have both VG-10 and S30v from Spyderco and I think your view is spot on. They are easy to maintain, have good wear resistance and not overly expensive. Both are good all around steels and difficult to go wrong with!

The Delica model has been around for a while. I used to have one that did not have a removable clip. The clip was molded into the handle. I wish I knew what happened to that knife.

I would love to get a set for the back-lock version of the Lil' Native but without any of the screw holes for attaching a pocket clip.

Because the backlock CBBL is proven superior all around by knife experts! I am the one who bought an older Sharpmaker, it would have been sometime in the late 1980’s maybe 1990. I think it was numbered the model 203.
