St. Nicks is a smooth transaction. Glad to get luck and grab a 4V Millie.

Re: Respectful feedback and ideas regarding 15V sprint runs
Spyderco makes some highly desirable sprint runs. This is great for us and diligence will pay off.
I will likely miss the St. Nicks Military in 4V. I will be on a plane and it will likely be sold out when I land. It’s just the luck of the draw. There will be other knives you can count on that.

Bummer, I will be on a plane. I will check when I land but odds are it will be long gone.

Re: Sharpmaker enough for M4 or K390?
Thank you for the effort to run 15V through the Sharpmaker progression. It’s all about getting a good result from the CBN/diamond first step. Just like using stones freehand. You have to get the apex set on the first low grit step, then refine.

Nice work in that Millie. My 52100 is my favorite. The 204P exclusive is well liked. Enjoy that new edge.

Re: Spydie flick Stretch 2?
...This slams the blade against the lock tang. If your looking to create some play in the lock, then by all means flick away. Wouldn't this be the case for any type of lock? Deformation is a possibility over repeated flicks, right? Is there something better about flicking open a blade with a stop p...

Re: Spydie flick Stretch 2?
I have no problem with the Endura. Stretch might be a bit harder.
I can, but do not flick my back locks. Please consider why you spydie flick a back lock? This slams the blade against the lock tang. If your looking to create some play in the lock, then by all means flick away.

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!
Well, it seems USPS has lost my order for LynchNW clips (one for this knife and one for my K390 PM2). From what I can tell, it hasn't moved since it hit Spokane, WA on 1/19. I just reordered those two clips (shipped Priority this time) in stonewash w/feather... plus a long clip for the BRG FRN, ZDP...

Uncoated Endura would be a buy. Something about blacked out blades doesn’t work for me. I only have one DLC blade.

Ugh, I guess HAP40 on the land and LC200N for the ocean.
The most balanced steels might be CPM Cruwear and CPM S90v.

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
David hit the bullseye. I love the Military 1, it just happens to have a liner lock. I prefer the liner lock on the Military 1 to the comp lock on the PM2. It’s not wrong, just different. I get all sides and I am supremely comfortable preferring the Military 1. I plan on picking up at least 1 or 2 m...

Re: Why no deep carry pocket clip?
How the clip fits in our hands is number 1 for me. We each have different hands and different holds. I tend to prefer regular clips or milled clips that have the same position like the RGT clip. Deep carry just makes the knife harder to get out for me.

Still missing a Dragonfly G10. I remember putting it somewhere safe before my son was born. It’s been 5+ years. I check drawers and pockets in bags. Still no luck.

Re: Who has USED the Manbug Salt Sheepsfoot?
The Manbug Salt is a super-powered compact edc. I always intended to buy one. Only with H1 being phased out did I go for it. Then I bought two back ups. A great edc.

1, manbug Monday-Friday. Larger on the weekend, usually Endura ZDP-189.

I second the GB1. Great piece if the weight works for you.
Manbug, Endura and Native 5 lead the count for multiples.

Great small knife. My new edc, I came to this model late. I just grabbed two back ups in H1. Stock is low. Watch the video Jazz made for some real cutting use.
