Thanks. I know you are a proponent of the Lil Native so I am glad I got your feedback.Spydergirl88 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 8:03 pmCompression lock 100 percent. I've carried one almost every day since they were first released a couple years ago. The compression lock has the most varieties available and also has more custom scale options.

I would say a serrated edge companion. There are times when I have to cut cord or rope and that would be handy.

Re: Super happy with my New Mantra 2
So the picture of the M2 might lead you to believe it's a bigger knife. Even so, I think the M2 is a good (even optimal) size for pocket carry. The handle length is about the same as a Delica, but the blade more slender and a bit longer. More of a slicer for sure. I love the looks of a titanium ston...

Thanks for the tip; I just ordered one. And I still have my Chaparral. Actually, I would also like a Chaparral light weight eventually.

What's Your Most Abused Spyderco?
For us it's a poor little VG10 dragonfly in the kitchen drawer. It's always sticky from tape adhesive opening boxes. It's been used to break down boxes with staples, pry things, etc. The kitchen drawer beater!

Re: Why linerless?
I bought a Native 5 in G10 and it was advertised as having liners but I got shipped the linerless version. At first I was disappointed, but after some use, I will have to agree with those that say liners are not required and add weight. I will also say I like the proud liners on the Manix 2 (i.e. th...

Is the Lil Native Compression Lock Handle Thicker than the Back Lock version?
I was looking at both and was wondering if the compression lock version of the Lil Native has a thicker handle than the back lock version? I don't have a local store to go to and compare.

Heck - VG-10 is good enough for me. I buy "super" steels to collect, not because they are required. One exception would be H1 for for more caustic environments.

Re: What was your first Spyderco?
Caly 3.5 with black G10 handles and VG-10 steel.
But the first Spyderco that I handled was a Manix 2 and that's when I decided I liked Spyderco as a brand. I have a couple of Manix 2's as well.
