Re: Spyderco/Phil Wilson Bow River

I have faith in Phil and Spyderco. Any knife this partnership brings to market is going to be great whether it is to hit a lower price point or comes in at the same price point as the existing Phil Wilson knives. I personally don't see a point in using a lesser steel then the current S90V if it only...

Re: 2017 OKCA Oregon Knife Show April 8-9

Dealer's, manufacturer's, table holder's, OKCA members and custom maker's donate items to the silent auction. The items available in the silent auction are displayed at the OKCA tables next to the entrance to the convention hall. They are in wood and glass display cases and while I don't know what t...

Re: 2017 OKCA Oregon Knife Show April 8-9

There are a significant number of custom makers that attend the OKCA show. I would say custom makers occupy about 25% of the tables at the show. As for other major knife makers who attend the show besides Spyderco, there are Al Mar and Great Eastern Cutlery from what I can recall. I have always been...

Re: 2017 OKCA Oregon Knife Show April 8-9

I will be there Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to seeing everyone again, playing with all the prototypes and taking up way to much of the Spyderco teams time. SolidState, what days are you going to be down?

Re: Labor Day Surprises and the WolfSpyder

The MS250 is a great saw and I have logged a lot of hours behind one on my parents farm. I think you will continue to enjoy that saw. Not a lot you can't do with it and a sharp chain. Congrats on the great weekend with family and some wonderful new sharp toys. P.S. If available I highly recommend us...

Re: Manix 2 C101PGY2 W/ Maxamet

The Native 5 Maxamet was also announced in the Spyderbyte and will be on my must have list. I expect MSRP is going to be around the same as the S110V models or within about 20% of their MSRP. I second dplafoll hope that the PM2 will be released in Maxamet as that would be my top US model I would lik...

Re: Why was the Dodo discontinued, and where can I get one?

The Dodo in its two most recent forms (Orange and Carbon Fiber) was never a production model, only sprint runs. Not sure if the Blue or Black Dodo's were production or sprints also.

Re: Exotic Japanese steels

Whichever steel is chosen please offer it in the Delica with a thinner ground blade than standard just like the HAP40 Delica. I like the other HAP40 sprints and own a Dragonfly and Stretch model but the Delica HAP40 is my favorite due to the thinner blade grind. So my vote is for a steel that has t...

It was the 2013 Spyderco Forum knife (S110V Native 5).
Knifeworks PM2 in CTS-204P also had this issue if I remember correctly.

Depends on how long it takes them to clean up all the duplicate orders and if they can get that done today or if it spills into tomorrow. They are still going out of stock as fast as they come back into stock.

sovereign thanks for the heads up on the Facebook post. Until you hit your site with this level of demand you don't know your weak points. The downside is they crashed their credit card processor but now they know their weak link. The upside is BladeHQ's site has handled the demand exceptionally wel...

Re: How fast will the M4/Jade Para2 sell out?

Knifeworks Green CTS-204P Para2 sold out in a matter of 45 minutes to an hour and crashed the knifeworks site. All exclusives since then have been priced $40 - $50 more than the Knifeworks and soon to be released BHQ exclusives. Dealers haven't been able to keep the Blurple PM2 in stock at basically...

Re: How fast will the M4/Jade Para2 sell out?

Between the new MAP pricing policy bringing up the price of all Para2's closer to this exclusives list price and the years long request for an M4 Para2, I will be surprised if it lasts more than an hour assuming the site doesn't crash. Add into that the ability to purchase 3 per person and they coul...
