Two words, "no way". Once was enough. Don't let anyone kid you, these ARE the good old days.
I think the 70's were the good old days, and they were not that good.

Things have changed so much since the 70's, and it seems to be much more dangerous.

Re: If you could, would you go back in time?

“The Strange Mystery of the Vatican’s Secret Time Machine.” Interestingly, this article just came out today. I’m open-minded about a lot of things, but I’m not gullible. IMO, this Father Pellegrino Ernetti’s story about the “Chronovisor” was a bunch of BS. He even admitted to having faked a couple ...

I jumped on the catalog yesterday but they're out of stock :(
I'll buy one in a hot minute!
In stock at KnifeCenter!

It is a great little knife! I have one and may buy more, but I'd love to see it in M390 too. I'll buy 2 or 3 in M390!

After the swap, the black lockbar and backspacer sit a little proud in the black scales and vice versa in the orange, but it’s negligible.
Looks great.

Just got mine. It took good two and a half weeks, but it's finally here. Fit and finish are top notch. No surprises there. All black blade with all black hardware and bright orange scales looks awesome. Can't hide I'm happy. :D
Glad that you received the knife!

Heck David, I'd be happy with 6 months. Hi Naperville, Never say never. Variations of any model always depend on demand. For those that done know, David came out of the womb with a torx wrench in his left hand. ;) sal Thank you Sal. I was only hoping that you saw the post. BUY JUMPMASTERS FOLKS!!! ...

Hi David---

Very ambitious plan. I'm glad you left yourself an escape clause with the exception of a serrated K390 P4. I hope that escape clause includes a serrated S35VN Resilience, also. ;)
I still stand by my call for a Serrated K390 Jumpmaster 2.

Rather than an LED, I'd like to see Spyderco release a Shaman with a Tritium Ingot embed in the back-spacer.

Re: I will now EDC a Jumpmaster 2 for 1 year

I have this knife. Is anyone interested in seeing it in K390 with serrations? Spyderco is in to serrating K390 and I'd like to see it in a high performance steel with serrations.

Just wondering out loud.

Re: I will now EDC a Jumpmaster 2 for 1 year

Just a suggestion for carry, feel free to ignore. I have most of my fixed blades set up for small of the back horizontal carry. I wear a heavy gun belt, and when I clip a Spyderco G-clip on that sucker it doesn't move. Put the clip just left of the center belt loop on my cargo pants, handle pointin...

My best Spyderco knives are the Spyderco Stuart Ackerman Sustain, or Spyderco Province.

It makes me glad that a couple of forums are as far into social media as I ever got.
I hear you! I'm trying to post less, and just read/lurk. It's when you post a lot that you get drawn in to subject matter that causes you grief.

Re: I grossly underestimated the Native Chief

Mine works just fine too, and I feel like a bit of a baby caring about this as much as I do, but when I feel that little flaw every single time I unlock the knife it bugs me a bit. Like I said off centered blade, a small ding on the scale, imperfect edge....I can either fix or ignore those little i...

Re: I grossly underestimated the Native Chief

Here are my 4. The camera blows up the variances larger than they are. The XHP is the only one that might have evidence of an issue but, it's fine. Maxamet - Perfect S90V - Perfect Rex45 - Perfect XHP - Slight mismatch, but does not effect the operation of the knife https://i.postimg.cc/8cvyHn3F/Spy...

The only thing that I know about S90V is that I'd like to see the Native Chief and Street Beat made out of it.
It took quite a while, but I have to give thanks to Sal and the team for making my wish come true.

I carry my S90V Native Chief with me everywhere I go now.

Re: I grossly underestimated the Native Chief

I will say this much, none of the Spyderco knives I have ever received needs replacing, and they were good from go. BACK-LOCKS: I have a Native 5, and 3 - Native Chiefs, and the back-locks work just fine. Every knife that I have from Spyderco is perfect or as near to it as I can get, without noticin...
