Sypdieman, Local city ordinances may vary, but California state law says any size folder is OK. Fixed blades like the Ronin, however, cannot be carried concealed. I think some of you are being a bit harsh on Guest. He raises a valid concern about knife names and public perception. As Joe pointed out the handles of these two knives are very different. If you have access to both, see which feels better for your particular hand and preferred grip.
