Re: Spyderco Worker 2?

I also wouldn't change anything about the design. The clip is fine as I would carry this one tip-down anyway. Love the original grind. Love the knife. Just wish I had one. :) I just want one because it's Spyderco's first knife. Maybe black G10 and K390? I would rather see a Sprint, like the green on...

Don't use my knives a lot at work, but I do use them. However, been working from home for over a year now and will probably continue to do so indefinitely. Now I can carry whatever I want at the office, because it's at home. :D

Caught my son chewing on electrical cords, so I had to ground him. He's doing better currently, and conducting himself properly.
Hahahahaha. That's a dang riot.

Re: Knife Rights Ohio Knife Law Preemption Bill Introduced

I live in Ohio and have for 47 years. Never had one problem carrying a knife. It’s all about how you carry yourself. Even had an officer admire my Military which is 2.0” over the legal limit (locally) and gave it back and sent me on my way. ;-) It really does depend on who you are, how you look, ho...

Re: Is it time for an E5/D5?

No no no. They are almost perfect. I don’t mind linerless, but I hate the fatty version that has become the Salt 2. I don’t need the handle to be fatter. ::thumbs-down:: If it HAS to be messed with….then bring back the splitter picker point of the D3/E3 and leave it just as skinny and remove the lin...

Re: High Performance Delica Excitement

If none of you have ever cut stuff with a Centofante 3 or 4, you should give it a shot. That is a high performance folder right there. 2mm blade stock with a hollow grind. I have both and they are the best slicers I have. Thanks! All I need is another knife! Hahaha! :D Yep. 😉 If none of you have ev...

Re: Colors - Talkin' Story - Marketing

I like colors, more of the earth tones though. Bright, obnoxious scales or ones that look like an Easter egg are easy passes for me. I think of a knife as a tool, and you don't see any man running around with a bright teal blue Craftsman wrench in hand! Yes, I'm comfortable as a man and could carry...

Lubricating knives with no liners and/or no washers

Do you lube your knives that have no washers and/or liners? Native 5 Lightweight, Dragonfly 2, Salt line, what do you do? You run 'em dry or you still oil them? My experience as of late has been that oiling them makes no difference at all, especially after you break 'em in. I think for now I will co...

Today, and this entire month, it's the SPY27 Native 5. January and February it was the Cruwear Delica 4. Love the Delica.

Re: Most underappreciated steel?

ZDP-189 I agree. It’s still my favourite steel of the high carbide volume stainlesses. I’ve been enjoying S90V recently in the Southfork and Proficient. I’d like to try it in a thin bladed folder like the Delica. I prefer S90V to S110V, and if I recall right, it actually had higher edge retention t...

Re: Most underappreciated steel?

Everyone saying VG-10 and S30V are spot on. Too many folks get tied up in "super steels" when the majority of folks couldn't tell the difference if the blades were not labeled. I have dogged on VG-10 in the past a little but it's a solid steel. Really solid. It will last most people their ...
