Re: Why don't we see more bolsters?

Where's my rainbow anodized titanium bolstered and pink/purple camo frn scaled Stretch 2 with combo edge? I can't tell if your post is sarcastic because you didn't actually read any of the above comments, or that you really want the bizarre knife that you describe, or if Jesus told you to be rude t...

Re: Native Chief Lightweight Discussion

I'm excited for this. If they make a black coated blade with serrations I'm jumping on it. I'll likely buy one regardless

Re: Hawkbill Grail

Hi Knivesandbooks, If I decide to use the design of the handle to bring back the concept/design in FRN, I would consider a Hawkbill, a Leaf, a Wharncliffe, and a "Reverse S" in blade shapes. In my opinion, the shape of the handle is ergonomic enough, with enough control (the purpose and f...

Re: Serrated Sprint Runs Wanted? Let's Get Serious

Serrated Spydiechef is a dream but that's not an in house design so I doubt that's possible. I'm also probably the only one who wants it. I agree with the above about the serrated Military. Please release those. And make them plain black G10 so there's less interest and I can actually get one before...

Re: Hawkbill Grail

I love these. I got into the game too late I think (or I wasn't paying attention). Settled on a Myrtle but this one is the dream. FRN would be nice with this. No steel preference in my opinion but plain edge in K390 with that hawkbill would be wicked! VG-10 would be just fine for what my uses would ...

Re: Future for Centofante?

I assumed that there is some kind of design royalty being paid to Frank's wife/family, and by keeping the model in the lineup they're keeping the royalty payments going. I have absolutely no proof of this, but it sounds like something Sal and the gang would do. I don't know if I would consider spri...

Too early to tell. So far it’s got that hair popping razors edge like my vg-10 and seems to have held it longer. No resharpening yet.
Let us know! I've been considering that one as I gifted my S90 N5 and want another

The Native 5. Love the model in all it's configurations. I judge knives now by how the feel in use compared to that. It's such a good user.

Re: What "others" are in the mail?

Brisa Birk 75 - S30V, full flat ground, curly birch scales, made in Finland. I've always wanted to check one of these out.. real simple, smooth lines, you can definitely see that Scandinavian influence.. seems like a really solid deal at $125. Should be here next week! I've got the slip joint versi...

Future for Centofante?

I've long looked at picking up a Centofante III and I might get one if I get a little extra money (my knife budget is $0 nowdays). But I'm wondering, are there plans for the Centofante in the future? With Al Mar knives no longer what they were in the past, perhaps the Centofante could fill in that g...

Re: Best 'less expensive' folder?

I can't remember the name of the model, but Buck makes a wood handled Stockman. I bought one for my dad and was very surprised at the quality for the price. Even the fit and finish was good, better than a Case. The knife and blades felt on the heftier side for a stockman, not one of the more delicat...
