Good point, a knife made in Golden and initially sold direct off the Spyderco site would help speed up the process. Then they could expand sales through the usual dealer channels. This is going to be a long term relief effort and unfortunately, the public donations tends to dry up after it is no lo...

The reason I say this instead of just purchasing the rescue knife, is that if we had a special color, ...

I'm really looking forward to this knife exactly as the prototype looked at shot. Much like the lionsteel sr1, just make the glass breaker a personal removable choice and please give use the tools for it. Instead of a wooden box. I would like to see it come in something original like any type (pref...

There was a lot of negative stuff said, and a lot of positive/constructive stuff said about his reaction to the original text. And even his explanation as to why he jumped the gun [metaphor: alcohol is not an excuse], and others saying their piece, re: physics etc, and a lot more that has already be...

Thanks for the advice guys. I've been thinking of focusing my knife collecting on delicas, and was just wanted to see what I was getting myself into. To me the delica just seems like the quinessential Spyderco. I just picked up the blue ZDP version Saturday. :D That is a hard journey to start, I qu...
