I had something similar to that. It was nasty it disabled my windows firewall and security center as well as AVG and replaced them with itself. It would then spam me with false virus and malware warnings and advertise that I purchase this product to help remove all the problems on my computer. The b...

http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33326 Spyderco balis being hard to find / purchase might also have a lot to do with what KGM said in this thread. A lot of the information in this thread also points as to why this should be in the restricted forum which is what Blerv was driving at I'm a...

Thanks, but I'm now a little confused. That's actually what I did. make a fist with thumb sticking up and put the thumb at the solar plexus. Then inward and upward. if that's the J-thrust, then what's the heimlich? I always thought it as the hand position honestly. I've never learned the heimlich m...

This reminds me of the first aid courses I've been on. Most of the time the Heimlich is considered a risky maneuver and the trainers often pretty much scare people that it shouldn't be done unless you really know what you're doing...Her opinion on the matter was pretty much: Who the **** cares abou...

I was recently told by a SF rep that SF would be selling new G2 heads seperately because the newer models are now stronger, have increased lumens output. So instead of forcing customer to upgrade they are making it possible to upgrade just the head.

you can't keep them in physical restraints all the time or use chemical restraint without their consent. What else is there? I can't speak for New York, or any state for that matter, but in Canada if someone is clinically mentally ill and on a mental health ward/unit they are usually pink slipped. ...

It is also kind of funny how Lynn states: "It’s now obvious to me Michael knows nothing about knife fighting or the true potential of the Tantos I designed and I wonder at his motivation to write such ridiculous trash, but then I remembered he has gone to work for Spyderco® full time. So…"...

I love it when Lynn gets riled up, he reminds me of Jeff Bloom or Blume (whatever his name is). Get's so passionate about a subject, but then comes across to me as whiney and uninformed.

I'd take Michael's teachings over Lynn's any day.

The Slovok player left the field on a stretcher this morning with a gash below his knee that looked like a saber cut. He refused to leave the game, waving off his replacement, and played until OT with bandages on the wound. What a player, what terrific competition and what fun for me. Well that is ...

If you are a union member, you have an obligation to support it, your brothers and sisters -- and yourself. Good luck -- and best wishes! No offense but that statement is semi bunk. A person might feel pressured to support the union but there is no obligation specifically to the union. If there is ...

You must know that usually, in our country, when a Union go on strike, people don't lose Salary because the Union pays for lost revenues, but mine, even though they haven't been on strikes for the past 10 YEARS, they didn't keept any money for a situation like this.... And I have to pay 30.00$ a we...

I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure both the hawks and the flyer's arena should have a family seating area. I know Vancouver's GM Place does. I don't know exactly what the view is from those seats but I imagine it isn't that bad. In the future if you do plan a family outing to a hockey game...

I really dont know what to think of the ending. It seemed to leave more questions than it did answer any. It was a good ending for entertainment purposes but it just left to much for interpretation. And what was with the polar bear in the begining...lol. In any case I am glad its over. They answere...

I'm glad they didn't tell us what the island is or how exactly it works. Because in reality there would not have been a good answer to do the show justice. Besides leaving it a mystery leaves a stronger lasting impression.
