M4 cuts better. I only say that cause I don't have k390.
I care more about knife design than which steel it has.
Thought part of the knife enjoyment and experience was sharpening it? Wouldn't have to do that if it was a super magic steel that never dulls...

Re: Delica 4 Glow-In-The-Dark FRN
Got mine today. It doesn’t glow as bright as I expected from the advertising I saw. They must have used a black light to charge it. This would have been great with a DLC coating!! It never is the same. My chicken sandwich from popeyes or chick-fil-a always half the size as shown on tv commercial or...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?
I know this sounds crazy, but my brother had one show up at his house today. It was addressed to him, but the return address was a fake (no house there), and it was shipped from a completely different state than listed on the return address. So, hold onto your hope...you never know. :con...

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run
Cruwear Micarta Shaman <> PD-1 Micarta Shaman. Just like a M390 PM2 <> 20CV PM2. The Cruwear run is done, never to be made again in that combination of CPM-Cruwear with Brown Micarta. If they make a new sprint run with PD1 and Brown Micarta or one with CPM-Cruwear and OD Green Micarta, those are di...

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run
Not sure why it will be referred to as a "sprint run" if it is essentially just another batch of the same knife. The letter I received implies that the sprint run is limited, unique, never-to-happen-again and, therefore, something of particular value (whatever the owner perceives that to ...

Re: Your "return ethics"?
I've only returned 1 so far. Ordered a paysan from one place then found better deal and ordered from them. They were same companies just using different websites. Asked the first one not to ship as it wasn't even shipped out yet. They told me sorry can't do that. So, got both the knives and looked a...

Re: CS Para 3s
Sold mine shortly after receiving it last year because the scales got dirty EVERY TIME I carried it in my jeans. Even if I didn't use it. The scales are so vibrant, they easily get dirty and just looked bad. Not meant to be carried with jeans. Understandable. Warm water and soap doesn't clean it up...

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run
I’m no expert, and haven’t looked much into this, but I’m pretty sure “Cruwear” and “CPM-Cruwear” are two different steels. So, you think the spyderco used cruwear and not cpm cruwear for the mule? yes, mule is not cpm. As was explained to me: the mule was ingot Cruwear. CPM Cruwear is chemically t...

Darn missing 3v and 4v Interesting pd1 over 100 cuts more than cruwear. Thought people said they're the same. Re: Bento Box Customer Service...
Look at it like this. You buy a brand new TV day before superbowl or something. Open it up and screen is cracked or just doesn't work. Bring it in to the retailer and they tell you to get bent. You ok with that??? Even worse being that they charged you full price... Believe this thread can end now. ...

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run
Anyone mind enlightening me on that? Everyone get silly excited whenever the name Cru-Wear drops but PD-1 keeps flying under the radar, how come? In the same way, I will be eager to lend my support (in the form of buying a knife) to a PD1 Shaman -- but it will be kind of silly alongside the same in...

Re: Peel-ply Carbon Fiber Peeling?
If spyderco agrees to pay shipping to them then that's probably where to send it. Otherwise it's their knife and their $ to not spend on shipping fees if they choose.
Either way I'm certain it would wind up back in Colorado.

Same here. I actually didn't know about this knife until I was scolling through knivesplus site and came across some flytanium ball cage lock for manix 2. So, go 2 of those and wanted to go over 100 for free ship and ran into bow river. Looks great for just $30.

I'm ok with lottery for all sprints. Beats the heck out of reading all the negative comments and such.
Makes the knife even more special cause you kinda won it, even though you had to come out of pocket.
