Re: A Maxamet Millie?
I'd be interested to know as well. The PM2 and Para 3 will be getting Maxamet. Those are too small for my tastes, so I'd be very interested if Maxamet came to the Military.

Re: Looks like the Chinook 4 bouta drop
By my crazy, baseless calculations (i.e. looking through the calendar and supplement), from Japan we are also still waiting on the Police 4, ATR 2, Caly 3 HAP40, Opus, and maybe a kitchen knife or two. Last I remember, the Police 4's were waiting to go through QC, and I thought the ATR 2's were not...

Re: Looks like the Chinook 4 bouta drop
I've got it on pre-order, and every week I get a nice email telling me to hold my horses. I got my regular email this week. Hopefully someone more in the know will chime in. I'm with you, and will probably buy a second. I don't see any other way really. Try to get a spare in 2027!

It's my favorite. I carry and use one most every day. It fits "just right:, like Goldilock's last bed.

Re: What do you think of the Titanium K2 model?
I love these things. I got a second one in the mail today. Once again, it is flawless, and the second one locks up earlier, with no lock stick. It's a shame that we'll probably never see the mini K2. (Not that I'm one who wants a smaller knife.)

Re: How have you preferences changed over the years?
Thanks for all the replies! It's been a fun read! I have two more I'll add, they tie into each other. - Clips. Used to care more about low profile clips and deep carry. Reading everyones comments about "non-knife people" etc made me concerned about perceptions. Over the years I've learned...

I agree. This would be outstanding. Another Shabaria folder sprint would be nice as well.dogrunner wrote:great idea!bh49 wrote:I am not talking about conversion, but I would love to see fixed blade Shabaria.

Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
I'd like to see a Military with a blade shaped like the K2's. I know those aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I think the tip would be stronger. Not sure it would all fit in when closed though without a scale redesign.

Re: First Para 3
I must be the odd one out. PM2's are a touch on the small side for me, if anything I'd like to see a larger version ;) I'm with you on this one. I thought the PM2 was great until I held a Military. Now it sits in it's box, while I am seldom without a Military. The Military fits my hand like a glove...

I agree. Bring on the S110v Manix 2 xl. Or perhaps, a personal request, CPM 10v with navy blue G10.
A Manix 2 xl backlock would also be welcome.

Re: Why is the Domino so overlooked as an edc ?
I have zero flippers, because I think the spyderhole is the best folding knife opening mechanism, period. That being said, if they offered a 4 inch + blade flipper, I might just give it a try, provided it also had at least a regular sized hole.

Re: Police4 pics and impressions
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and thanks for the pictures. Looks to be quite a nice piece, and a nice carry for something that big when opened. I think I'll pick one up when they are released. Should be soon enough.
