I don't know if i am allowed to mention knives other than Spydies here, but depending on the use of this FB how about one of the Cold Steel spike series? They come with a Kydex sheath, and they seem tough. I believe the blade fits your requirements.

I am having such a hard time deciding between the stretch and the manix. I hope to decide by later tonight. Too many decisions to make especially not being able to actually feel either knife, and having never owned a spyderco, this decision is extremely difficult.

Does the stretch come in full SE or just CE? I just saw a video claiming the Manix's lock has failed under stress, truth?

I like the stretch, I think i might go with that, thanks a lot for the pics. That Bradley is so sharp looking.

sorry, I know I'm asking many questions, requiring opinionated answers, but why is the manix so desired? And how does the lock work?

Would you recommend the stretch? Even in the SE?

bad news guys, the kiwi is backordered i guess. SO, I canceled my order, I'm now looking for a knife, around the $60 price range, any suggestions, as well as pictures are welcome. :)

Not California unfortunately No automatic knives for civilians. Need CCW to carry handguns, no bali's over 1.9 inches.

I don't really understand the difference between "flat ground" and "saber grind" as well as the other terms used to describe the blades. I do plan on getting more spydies, I just need to decide which ones.

Turns out, the Kiwi, and the Honeybee are out of stock? That really blows, i was eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new knives, and now i have to wait even longer, **** you knifecenter!

I like the black Delica, that may be my next purchase. Does it come fully serrated, or should i opt for the combo edge?

I do intend on purchasing more Spyderco's, i was mainly curious about the kiwi, but it didn't feel right only purchasing one small ss knife. I've kind of been eyeing the Paramilitary 2, i like the look of it, and as of right now that's the only thing i can go by. I don't live near a knife store wher...
