A paragraph in a gun magazine with a photo of a new knife called the co-pilot. Sometime in the late 80s I think. I ordered one from my gun dealer a couple of months later. By coincidence it's in my pocket now.

New Spyderco Pendant

We've had the original police pendant. Smallest working Spyder! I had to buy one after the Fred Perrin tongue in cheek catty review.

But now we're in the 21st Century! So what Spyderco model should be used for a new pendant?

The ones that work hard for their keep are: a se cf cricket that is in fulltime employment as a moneyclip, box and letter opener, general knifely duties and last night was called into service as a pineapple filleter when restaurant cutlery was not up to the task. The other is a co-pi...

The greatest Spyder

What do you think is the greatest Spyderco knife, why and how would you like to improve it. My choice would be a se steel cricket. Why? Because it's small so one always finds it in a pocket in use as a moneyclip, it has big knife performance. It's so friendly looking that it is as close to a politic...

Toad

The SE Toad is one of my favourites. But I am always a bit nervous of using it because I'm afraid of breaking the very slender and delicate looking tip. Has anyone put some hard use on theirs/broken the tip? Are replacement blades available?
