Re: DF2 keeps getting more pocket time
I've been having the opposite problem. I usually rotate my knives at least a few times a week, picking up whatever suits my fancy that day, but a couple weeks ago I picked up my Military and it just won't leave me! I thought I was really turning into a 3" max kinda guy because in reality it's ...

Re: DF2 keeps getting more pocket time
I own many Spyderco and I like the smaller ones .. I don't know why it took me so long to go after a Dfly but I got a Pakkawood in the mail right now! I like a little heft better than lightweight so that won't be an issue..still under 2oz. thats nothing! I'm not so sure about the Pakkawood just want...

Re: Who would like a traditional slip-joint Spyderco?
Yes.. I think it would be a bold move for Spyderco but thats what they always been about... bold moves in the blade industry. The Crk Mnandi and now the Impinda has shown the beauty and function that can be achieved with traditional style knives, using modern materials and design. It would be a sham...

Re: Do most of us need larger knives?
The studies are in... knife buying has been trending sub 3.2 for awhile.
Sure there are some who actually need a larger knife for their purposes,
and those who just enjoy having a larger knife.
But knife makers know whats up...
and we should continue to see a plethora of smaller knives being produced.

Re: What are your thoughts on Spyderco's Peel-ply Carbon Fiber?
Real CF is not my favorite material or look for frames anyway. so CF laminate is a real turnoff. especially on just one side. I don't mind a little heft and prefer it. too each his own. I would love to see Spyderco do some exotic woods on their designs. all the smaller 3 inch and under ...great! Sna...

Re: Ideal blade thickness for your EDC folder?
Chaparral 2mm cuts like a laser... might not be the appropriate tool for all jobs, but for my everyday use its ideal. The only thing I would change is the name... Spyderco makes some great knives many many great designs. But they come up with some of the stupidest names lol Devil Boy or something co...

Re: Thanks Bandwagon
Yup PM2 for sure!
But if it must be sub 3 inch
Chaparall ( any version handle material love it )...
Lil Native, PM 3, Manbug, Dragonfly, Delica, Mantra 1 or 3 ...
all readily available and good choices.
Leave Techno 2 for me :-)

The Chap is a great form as is. Spyder hole, Strong back lock, Easy one hand open close, Thin profile Laser blade, Choil and Thumb ramp, Solid and Compact. Great urban pocket knife or gentleman’s folder. I would like to see some exotic Woods or Bone frames. Also just my preference this knife is mean...
