I don't have the pictures anymore, but I was able to pit the blade of my LC200N Pacific Salt 2 when I neglected to wash off some lime juice.

The Astute that I had would easily rival either Taiwan or US made models in fit and finish. If not for the steel used and "China " on the blade, I think you'd be hard pressed to tell where it was made.

I say that all the time, for just about everything now.

I used to carry mine in the bottom of my pocket clipless. I found it a lot more comfortable to handle and use without it.
