I'll let you know when I get my Para 3 but my friends both got different ones because they have different sized hands. If your hands are large you might like the PM2 more but you can't go wrong either way.

Yes a downgrade but also hopefully more affordable then. I do like S30V I am kind of tired of it since I have so many knives with it. I will probably still get it because I love the design of the mantra and the compression lock. I hope they make a 4 that has the blade profile from the 2.

The Cruwear Para 3's go for almost $200 and the Maxamet PM2 I just saw one sell for $300 yesterday. There was a blue PM2 M390 on Az custom's site this week for $250

Yeah you should be able to use it to touch up your tenacious or kershaw after just watching a few videos on using it.

My first one had a black spot on the grey handle, the second one's grind wasn't perfect but not terrible. It's no where near as sharp as my Manix2 Maxamet

Had the same issue with my PM2 that I've had for almost 2 years, hold your lock bar and see if the blade drops that will tell you if it's the pivot or the detent. What do you guys use to polish your pivots?

Do you other guys with Southards have issues with misaligned jimping? Just wondering if this is common or if I should maybe send it back...
