For the last almost 3 years, it's been my BG-42 Military. But yesterday, my ultimate EDC came in the mail and my new fave is the M4 Millie. I'm a huge Military fan and this one just blows me away.

Yup, my Salts go in the ocean and beach all the time and I find a good rinse in fresh water while working the blade open ad closed is usually all it takes.

Mine will be a user for sure, just like all of my others. I think it may end up booting my BG-42 Millie out of first place for favorite overall knife. :D

Oh **** yes!! The Kris is my favorite Schempp design and one of my all-time favorite Spydies EVER!! It has such a unique combination of ergos, beauty and utilitarianism that is really hard to match. I actually bought mine originally solely because they were being disco'd but soon ended up with 2 mor...

Yeah I didn't like it until I held one in my hand, and then I had to have it.Some knives you just don't understand the design until you hold it in your hand. I would vote no on the smaller size one.It is just right as is. ;) My thoughts exactly! The Kris, for me, is one of those knives that literal...

Over the years I've acquired and sold a bunch, but the ones I always end up keeping and using are: >Military (BG-42 is my fave) >Delica >Kris >Lg Persian >SE Tasman My honorable mentions, and it almost hurt to leave these off my top 5, would be Rock Salt, VG-10/FRN Stretch 2, Khukuri, Mini Persian a...

My wife just lost hers. :( So in my search for another, I stumbled on to soonerstateknives.com. I also called to confirm they actually have them in stock too, so you can pick one up there for sure.

After all that though, she decided she wanted the FFG Purple D4. :o

Yes, Thank you Mr. Schempp! I used the Rock Salt this weekend to make a makeshift shelter while camping, and it did everything I asked and more. You design a **** of a knife! Rock Salt is my go-to blade for anything nasty, tough or down and dirty. Thanks for the awesome knife Mr. Schempp (I also lo...

My ESEE H.E.S.T. Passaround Review from BF

I was lucky enough to be able to participate in this passaround and found this knife to be a really, really cool little fixed blade. For those not familiar, H.E.S.T. stand for Hostile Environment Survival Tool and this thing definitely fits the bill and I highly recommend it for a smallish FB for co...
