Re: Which Spyderco is your Gentleman folder?

I bought a GB2 as a gentleman’s folder, but haven’t taken it out of the box yet. And now I’m starting to think it’s too small for my hand. So the search continues!

My Military conundrum.

About a year ago I acquired one of my “grail” knives; a titanium Spyderco Military. I love the thing, but recently I’ve been thinking about picking up a lighter weight option in the same pattern. My Millie Ti isn’t exactly a pocket brick, but I’ve spoken to a few people who sing the praises of the G...

After the heartbreak of missing out on the crucarta shaman (my ideal work knife), I’m not holding my breath for the zwear version..

On the plus side, the only reason I haven’t bought a YoJimbo is because it’s too small for my huge mitts. The YoJumbo is an awesome surprise!

Re: Which Endura is your ideal all-arounder?

Thanks for all the input so far guys. A few things I should mention.. -I forgot to include I already have a SE Pac Salt 1. Definitely an amazing beater. I'm considering an E4 because (I assume) liners would make the knife a bit more stout. -HAP40 would be great, but BentoBoxShop doesn't ship to Cana...

Which Endura is your ideal all-arounder?

I know there's no "best" when it comes to pocket knives. It's all far too subjective. I'm wondering which Endura would be YOUR choice for a basic, high-capability EDC. I'm considering the all-black Combo Edge VG10, the ZDP-189 PE FFG, and the SE VG10 Wharncliffe. You can select one of these, or sugg...

Re: Native chief vs Endura?

It's awesome how, whenever I have a Spydie-related question, I can wait a day or two and someone else on this forum will ask it for me. :) Currently trying to decide between the Endura 4 in ZDP-189, or attempting to snag a Native Chief in REX45 when it becomes available. Just for light to medium EDC...

Re: Any longtime users of the G-10 Stretch 2 (ZDP-189)?

May I ask which Endura variant? HAP 40 Pakkawood maybe?! Endura 4 and Stretch 1 are my favorite folders of all times and all brands... never can finally decide which of the two is actually my absolute number 1. Maybe.. :) Do you have a Pakkawood E4? Can I send you a PM with a few questio...

Re: Any longtime users of the G-10 Stretch 2 (ZDP-189)?

I have XXL hands, not quite as big as yours but big enough I find any knives uncomfortable. Have you looked at the Endura and the Manix 2? They fit my hand just fine and there are blade steel and scale choices. I live in Canada and usually only check out the scale/steel options available north of t...

Re: Any longtime users of the G-10 Stretch 2 (ZDP-189)?

If you want to buy one and send it to me I'll tell you how it is. ;-) For what it's worth, I love the ZDP Stretch. I just haven't had a G-10 model. Great EDC knife. Holds a fine edge for a long time, and does pretty much everything you need a knife to do. A+. Excellent! Just what I wanted to hear. ...

Have you considered the K390 Police 4? I think you can still find them at some smaller retailers.
A friend of mine has the P4 K390, and tried to convince me to pick one up for myself. It's a bit too long for what I have in mind, and I can't swing the extra $68 dollars anyway.

Any longtime users of the G-10 Stretch 2 (ZDP-189)?

I'm in the market for a medium-sized, ergonomic slicing machine EDC blade that holds an edge for a good amount of time. I've already got the FRN VG10 Stretch 2 variant, but the beefier G-10 scales and modest added weight would do nicely in my XXXL hand. Also, stepping up to ZDP is something I've bee...

Blacked-out SE Pacific Salt is in my pocket today. I've got 7 or 8 Spydies in my collection, but for some reason I keep grabbing that one day after day. Probably because it's amazing!

Opened a new bag of dog food with my titanium Millie. It's so enjoyable how a well-sharpened Spydie blade just dives through plastic packaging.

Re: Military 3 vs delica.

If the Military 3 is currently a thing, there’s going to be a lot of somewhat confused yet excited people around these parts!

Also, if you had the Delica and sold it, why not try something new? I’d recommend the Lil Native!

...strength-to-weight ratio in the entire pocket knife industry! A Pacific Salt SE has been my EDC for over a year now, and I'm constantly impressed with how capable a 3 ounce knife can be. I bought my wife a Dragonfly for EDC and a Spyderhawk for work, and she tells me every few days how awesome th...

Jumpmaster 2 for large hands?

The Jumpmaster 2 looks like an absolute beast! Love the design. I'm a huge fan of serrated H1. The overall length is perfect for my needs. The only question I have is....would the handle be cramped for someone with large hands? I won't get a chance to try out the knife before buying it. I'm hoping s...
