Re: Another round of CPMD2 sprints?
CPM-D2 with CTS-XHP around? Isn't CTS-XHP basically a improved D2?
Looking at the steel composition charts they are very similar except that CTS-XHP has a good bit more Chromium.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
With 26 Exclusives and at least 8 Sprint type runs in 2017 alone. Things will probably not be moving like they used to. Will agree with that. Look at all the Millie exclusives still in stock months or in the case of one of them, almost 2 years. Even the 52100 millie sprint is still around. A quick ...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%
Good values will be found in dealer exclusives (they're allowed to discount them at any time) and discontinued Spyderco knives which covers your first paragraph. Know that. The point is that if you're patient good deals will still be around. When the Hungarian came out really wanted one but was pat...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%
Meanwhile the price on the BHQ M4 Millie went down $20 and the price of the brown Southard went down to $154. For how long I can't say but they are available @ that price right now. IMO considering the materials involved the Southard is a steal @ that price. OTOH if I did my math correctly the MSRP ...

Re: 2 questions about cruwear and sprint runs..
Thanks, I am wanting a PM2 in cruwear, but am wary of buying one on the secondary market due to the counterfeits. I would also buy a military in cruwear if they did a run. I am late to the party and hate that I missed the good runs. A sprint millie in cruwear was done in late 2103..Oct/Nov time fra...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%
I do not get it? What is the point of this? Amazon doesn't even follow MAP and it is supposedly there to level the playing field. This looks like a basic case of the rules only hurting the ones who follow them. I am still sour about MAP being implemented in the first place and now this? I might be ...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%
If the difference between paying $120 for a $200 knife and paying $130 for it is enough to drive you away, then yes, C'est la Vie. Hope for your sake gas prices don't jump 10% or more any time soon, or you may have to travel via shanks' mare. Are you seriously comparing a pocket knife to gasoline :...

The looks? IMO it looks like a cartoon knife.. The design is totally devoid any flow or nice lines. Even the Jot Singh Khalsa is pretti.. sorry, less horrid looking. Except the Jot Singh Khalsa has been sitting around on the shelves unsold for 4 or 5 years. S90V and Titanium handles. I could be wro...

Re: Who would be in for a Cruwear/Carbon Fiber Millie?
Have no interest in another Cruwear Millie. The CQI updates aren't that big of a deal to me. My non CQI Cruwear Millie cuts just as well as a CQI having Cruwear Millie would lol. Millie sprints don't seem to come along very often so If were asking for a new Millie sprint I would be VeRy interested i...

Re: PM2 Red G-10 M390 at DLT Trading?!?!
Honestly military's in general aren't as popular as the para 3 and the para 2. Simply because most folks find the military too big and unwieldly for EDC. And if you just need the military for the occasion you might aswell bring a fixed blade. Not saying there isn't a market for the military i own t...

As far as being surprised that knives that knife afi's like get discontinued I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that after a couple of years the GB1 is still available from dealers. I sure thought everybody liked that knife and that has sort of made it clear to me that knife afi's are not ...
