Patti, HELP! I called back in the beginning of November to reserve my Forum Military; gave the person I talked with my phone number(s) so that SFO could call me when the Forum Military was ready to ship, to get my credit card and shipping info. The problem is, I'm moving from California to Virginia ...

afee, Was that Oakland, CA? Because I've had no problem taking knives through that airport (and knives are what count, not skateboards). In fact, when I asked one of the guards what the rules were, I was told that the FAA limited on board carry to 4" (apparently not all airport security guards ...

The only acceptable failure rate is ZERO. Fortunately, that's what you can expect with a Spyderco knife.

Spy De,
The heading over at KnifeCenter may be "Civilian and Matriarch," but the link only takes you to the G-10 Civilian.

Just got an aluminum Cricket! And now a question.

Sal, I know there were sound business reasons for discontinuing the aluminum Cricket in favor of the FRN model, but what a shame! Comparing the two (the FRN Cricket was one of my first Spydies, and still a favorite), I noticed that the blade shape was changed slightly between the two models. Can you...

Milarm has them (http://www.milarm.com). Don't let the price shock you -- it's in Canadian dollars (= 0.73 USD). I have one on its way to me right now; price with shipping was about $60.

I have the small Centofante, and it's anything but flimsy. The big one should be great for pumpkin carving!

I've got no use for a knife that size (whereas I carry my Centofante Jr. virtually every day). HOWEVER, $120 for a limited edition Military?! Make mine plain edge, and I'll find a way to carry it.

My vote's with Clay's idea. I would love a [second] Centofante Jr. with pearl/G10 scales. Upgraded steel too. I think this knife would be incredible with a VG-10 blade.

$$ in the case of the C22 CF Walker.

SFO sold out of grey Matriarchs before I could allocate the funds.

The rest I just haven't gotten to.

Stumbled on it by accident -- was aiming for the "discontinued" link without really looking at the screen.
