I just found out that the Centofante models (C25 & C50) have been discontinued. How did I miss that news???

The only acceptable failure rate is ZERO. Fortunately, that's what you can expect with a Spyderco knife.

Milarm has them (http://www.milarm.com). Don't let the price shock you -- it's in Canadian dollars (= 0.73 USD). I have one on its way to me right now; price with shipping was about $60.

I have the small Centofante, and it's anything but flimsy. The big one should be great for pumpkin carving!

I've got no use for a knife that size (whereas I carry my Centofante Jr. virtually every day). HOWEVER, $120 for a limited edition Military?! Make mine plain edge, and I'll find a way to carry it.

My vote's with Clay's idea. I would love a [second] Centofante Jr. with pearl/G10 scales. Upgraded steel too. I think this knife would be incredible with a VG-10 blade.
