As some one who is just now being exposed to cruwear for the first time, any recommended tips for maintenance?

Yeah i usually use baking soda and a scrubber of some kind. I did not have much problem before but ive moved and now have a dishwasher so i was hoping that it could be put to use.

Well thanks for everyone for the input. I sort of figured that it wouldn't be abrasive enough to remove the trapped steel. I would also be interested in hearing how to smooth the brown stones. One of the corners came with a chip in it.

can i put my sharpmaker rods in the dishwasher to clean them?

fantastic knife, looking forward to matching it up with its little brother in the future. Although I did get the blue CF model, so here's hoping the dice comes with the same scales. Or I will just have to get another domino.

Thanks a lot for the prompt responses folks. This is exactly what I was hoping for.

I just got a carbon fiber chaparral this week, was super stoked about it. When I first opened it, it had a sort of gritty feel to it but that has smoothed itself out. However the tang grinds against the liner around the finger choil area and makes an audible noise when opening. This only occurs when...

They only had a shipment of 10. I snagged on a few moments after it was uploaded on their website and when my order was finalized they only had 6 left. The following morning I think they wee wall gone. I don't think they lasted more than 24 hours.
