Endura. As with any FRN knife, Endura or Stretch, just make sure it doesn't have blade play when you buy it.

The Techno is a truly great EDC knife. Buy one second-hand and scratched if you have to, so that it's affordable/do-able. It will still be a beautiful knife.

I'm still very much a beginner at sharpening. I too was worried about sharpening my Spydie, until I bought a Sharpmaker and watched the videos on Youtube by jdavis882. I just got a large fine whetstone and I am successfully sharpening by hand now as well as on the Sharpmaker. So far I have learned t...

I think Spyderco out-did itself with the perfection of the Sage 2. How any other Sage can follow that is beyond me.

Next to Soyderco my great knife obsession is Leatherman Since Spyderco doesn't make one, you should look at the Victorinox SwissTool and their SpiritX ergonomic lightweight version of the SwissTool. They're far finer than any other multitool in my opinion. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/victorinox-swiss-a...

Surely Spyderco is locally famous in Colorado, no? I enjoyed the article. I'd like to see a step-by-step photoessay showing how a Golden=produced knife is produced there.

I asked how many Enduras had been produced through the years, and Sal politely told me that this was proprietorial private business information, or something to that effect, so I doubt that he will share any data about Tenacious sales either.
