Re: Have you found the one?
I voted YES. I spent years trying out different models and exotic steels always looking for THE ONE. I really wasn't a fan of the Military before the TI/CF S90V with the R.I.L., I actually had a DLC Military in the collection but only used it sparingly. I think it was the addition of the R.I.L. tha...

Re: Have you found the one?
..... I'm really late to the serrated Pacific Salt party but now I do understand Vivi and Gringo's appreciation for this workhorse of a knife! May I ask: How do you personally think the sabre-hollow grind of the Pac Salt SE affects its performance? Be it positive or negative (or not at all)? I´d es...

Re: Have you found the one?
I can attest to this as well... it only took me years and thousands of dollars to figure out I like/love a sub $100 pacific salt.Spydergirl88 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 9:56 pmLil Native DLC comp lock. Everything I need, nothing I don't. Only took me almost 200 Spydercos to find that out.

Re: Have you found the one?
Same. I haven’t met you but I’m pretty sure we’re twins. I had one in SE that’s pretty much my only dedicated folder I carry... when I heard it was discontinued I bought 5 more. I’ve actually sold the majority of my knives due to the fact I don’t use them... I still have a few other spydies, but it’...

Re: Endela-thread
I’ve had an Endela on me almost every day since I got one in hand! For me, it’s that good! Loved the PE so much I got a SE, which may be even better!? Something magical about a FFG SE VG-10 blade. If they happen to make one in Cruwear, I may just have my perfect knife! Please oh please Sal and comp...

Re: Future of the Mule Team Project
Backlock or Compression lock is a requirement. Don't alienate the majority of users by catering to the minority who have nasty knife restrictions. I live in a jurisdiction without restrictions, but I travel enough to know that I'm not in the majority. Very true. I have no restrictions but I also li...

I agree with this.FullFlatMind wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2019 6:00 amI'm in for this. Bright green FRCP handles, CBBL w/ ceramic ball, LC200N hardware, and screw construction vs pinned. Basically what everyone else said.
Lime/neon green, add a DLC blade and I want it in spyderedge!!!

My post didn’t make it from yesterday, so I’ll try again... I’d work a deal with my attorney to give me one of my SE pacific salt’s back and they could keep the rest till i get em all back! Very good reply! :p And I have a feeling, if Vivi played this mind-game, he´d think of something similar... ;...

Re: Police 4 LW
I just received my P4 LWT, and it is excellent. It feels more comfortable in hand than the Endura 4. If there were one thing I would change about it, it’s that I would have moved the flat logo section on the handle a bit closer to the butt end. The knife clips on smoothly, it because the clip conta...

Ladybug93 and tonijedi, do y’all have a sharpmaker? I’m curious what you use to sharpen your SE knives?

Re: So what's your top 3 favorite steels? and why?
In no particular order... VG-10: because, do I even need to say anything? It’s a classic! Easy to sharpen, good toughness, great all around steel. Spyderco has pretty much perfected the heat treat. H1: I LOVE SE H1. Do I even need to? Really? Keeps going and going, good toughness and edge retention,...

Re: We need more Manix 2 Light Weights!
What's not to love?! The pinned construction. Personally, I’ve never had an issue with any of my pinned spyderco knives becoming loose or anything. I understand why you say that... but I’m also not one to disassemble knives. I’ve never really had the need to do so. Also, there’s no need to loctite ...

Re: Which Steel In you’re experience is your favorite for Spydie Edges?
I voted H1. But only because I live the maintenance free aspect of it. I have no problem with a VG-10 endura in SE, but I’d take the pacific salt handle, weight (lack of liners) and the rust proof properties of H1 any day of the week over it if I had the choice. I’ve never tried anything besides VG-...
