Re: Tea
Ahmad is awesome, can't drink Earl Gray but English #1 is great- available on amazon. I've never had anyone accuse me of having "tea breath." I think most Americans have never had a proper cup of tea. Tea bags with strings are evil.

Re: Direction of the MT Project
CTS-XHP was also compared to steels, "a stainless D-2" or like 440C but better. Every mule surprises me, some I will use in a knife others I will not. When CTS-XHP came out I thought it was lower grade than S30V but after using the mules it has become one of my favorite steels. I don't thi...

Gayle Bradley update?
I remember reading about an update to the Gayle Bradley. I searched and cannot find the thread. Any news on that one?

Re: Nitrobe 77
Cliff,
A couple of questions,
What would a Crucible equivalent of this steel be? Is there any semi-equivelent still in production? It makes me all the more interested to find out what this stuff is like in a mule team model.

Nitrobe 77
I've seen this steel come up in a few threads but not that many people seem to have experience with it. Sal any chance of something with this steel? 2mm stock and a small classic pen knife with a Spydie twist?

Re: Money Saving Tips
Feather blades out of Japan, I can shave for 1-2 weeks with one and I have 100 blades for around $30. I suck at word problems so I'm not going there. I use the brush and wet shave and enjoy the experience.

I'm not an LEO, nor do I pretend to be one. I read the blog modern service weapons from time to time, I think it has some very good advice and this article might be helpful to you.

Re: Variety in the collection (pics/thoughts)
I'm very tempted by the Ritter in M390. I have one in S30V and really love the blade shape and lock. Do you know if that is a production run?

Convex Spydie
Has there ever been a convex ground Spyderco? How many of you convex your blades from a factory grind?

Re: Fastest Deploying Spydie?
My intention in asking the question was what is the fastest opening folder in the spyderco line up. Not a self-defense question but do not want to discard that aspect either. From what I gather the PM2 and Emerson are the fastest.

Re: Appreciation for XHP, KC exclusive Native, reprofiled
I was using my cts-xhp mule today, I really, really like the steel. It takes a very nice edge and keeps it longer IMHO than VG-10. That said I am also enjoying super blue but XHP would be a great standard steel.

Dbcad, I'm looking to compare the two mules with same blade geometry. I have never owned D2 but I am happy with CTS-XHP. I don't expect the PSF27 to much better performance. I'm curious why for instance the new GB bowie is PSF27 instead of CTS-XHP. Is it a performance choice or economic one? Does th...

PSF27 and CTS-XHP Performance
If I understand this correctly PSF27 is a spray formed version of D2 and CTS-XHP compares as a stainless D-2. Any thoughts as to how the steels would be in performance compared to each other?
