Re: Lynch NW Para 3 Clip

Pretty cool to see Casey Lynch addressing this but on the other hand a little sad that Spyderco cannot

Re: Any hope for a Leaf Storm sprint run

Kevin Wilkins has now made a Leafstorm 2 that addresses some of the problems with the original, maybe Spyderco and Mr Wilkins can get together and make that version instead?

Re: PM2 pocket clip default position

If I recall correctly Sal explained a while back that he and Eric prefer to carry the PM2 tip down and that's why they ship it like that.

Re: Sharpening S110V

I would recommend purchasing some type of diamond stone, they make life far easier when it comes to these type of steels.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Ordered a Maxamet PM2 but looks like I've been kicked in the old proverbials once again. Man, I'm getting a bad run of luck so far this year. Guess I'll have to file a claim this weekend :(

Re: Kopa Sprint C92P

Could this be a test scenario by Spyderco? If the knife is well made and gets a good reception then they can start to make more and use different materials in the future

Re: Vanadis 4 Extra

Thanks for the link Jim. If it's similar to 4V then I'm hoping Spyderco can get some to play with but this quote doesn't give me much confidence :( CPM 4V is very close to the composition of Bohler Uddeholm Vanadis 4 Extra. It has better edge holding than CPM 3V and is tougher than M4. I think Cruci...

Vanadis 4 Extra

Just wondering if anyone has tried Vanadis 4 Extra, it looks similar to M4 but maybe a bit tougher. Any chance we'll ever see this steel in a Spyderco Mule or folder?

Re: Knife sharpening service north Texas.

If you're buying a Spyderco knife then you can send it in for sharpening, I think they charge $5. Otherwise you might be best off looking over at bladeforums for someone who can do it.

Re: More Urban Sprints Please

There are so many options when it comes to European steel. As mentioned earlier there are the Bohler and Sandvik options and don't forget Damasteel (I have been pretty impressed with RWL34 in the lil Nilakka). For all those members of the Patina Platoon, there's also XC75/XC100, inexpensive carbon s...

Re: More Urban Sprints Please

I like the lw Urban the way it is, just would be great to see different steel varieties. M390 would be absolutely awesome and I'd like to see more European steels, maybe some Sandvik varieties.

I'm trying to figure out how long it will be around, and if I want to buy more than one immediately.
The knife is listed under the Knifeworks Exclusive section so I'll go all in and say it's an exclusive for them.

$80 for a brand new PM2 sounds dodgy to me, it's a knife under MAP that retails for $136,47. If not then you can also try flytanium

Re: Bad experience from Customer Service

Using the Domino as a salt knife seems a poor decision to me. Personally I consider my Domino as more of gent's knife or edc knife. Spyderco make so many variants for harsh environments there must be something else that fits the bill, you have the Tusk and Spydeichef at the higher end and the Salt r...

Re: Stolen package after warranty service

I had a bad experience with UPS recently. I was waiting all day for an Amazon order that was out for delivery however it never showed up. In the evening I checked the tracking and it said it had been delivered. Obviously the driver just marked the package as delivered and then went home expecting to...
