Mine came centered and no frcp gaps, but is definitely stiffer than my other lw Manix. It should break in nicely I'm sure. As to the issues posted above I would immediately send it back asap. I get these are mass produced sub $200 knives and no-one is perfect.

Picked up micro tech socom elite finally and liked it so much I grabbed a second! These are some tough as nails folders with amazing lock up. Almost Every spyderco I own has blade play right out of the box. These were hard to get for years, they must of made a batch cuz a bunch of vendors have them ...

My only change it seems is I dislike shiny pocket clips....rather have a dull finish or black to not draw attention to it.....
