That's a very nice toolbox! :) Great pictures.
Those D2 PM1s brothers, looks like they work good as team and watch for each other like good brothers do. :D

I will agree with comments that Tenacious is entry level blade, and is good as it is. I like its smooth action, blade shape, quality of materials and overall build. I do not like it's weight, balance, and steel performance. Maybe 8Cr13MoV in fact is a decent working steel if HT'ed or shaped differen...

There is no logic - no business that put profits first would do this! :spyder: What you see here is a company run by a family that really, really appreciates pushing the limits of existing products and technology. They go to a lot of trouble and some risk to buy up small lots of exotic or unusual s...

Mine has arrived today! I will stay with my choice in poll, which is 'leave it alone'. If it's just color preference or other aesthetic driven decision, then I would say go for it. It's your knife, it came to stay and serve, and you have to enjoy your knife without any second thoughts. But if decisi...

Agreed Doc! Crazy but another moral decision panning out. Don't mess with human spirit driven by justice and armed with a big knife ;) . That's right, knife or firearm on person are useless without brain , heart and will to use them when situation calls. Trained and prepared person driven by justic...

I was cutting the weeds like I usually do, and my trusty Spyderco Tenacious took a good beating trying to cut and hack all the overgrown weeds on my chain link fence. The hate for the Spyderco Tenacious is ignorant. OK, yeah. It might cost less because it is outsourced, but somebody still has a job...

You know, I thought I wouldn't like the grey scales either, but they are really growing on me. Been carrying it for a few weeks now and have to applaud the Spydercrew on the small incremental changes they've been making. Both my Carpenter para2s are smooth as butter and feel great in the hand. Not ...

How do you cut yourself flicking lol??? :p . I do tricks with my blades, they have throws in the air, flips, spydie drops , all sorts. I put tape on the blade though :p , who needs a trainer lol :D . I like doing that stuff too, and never put tape on blade. :) Besides it wasn't that bad,...

I was under the impression that improving the detent was one of the things they upgraded when going to the Para 2, so I would think it would be better, but since I don't have both, can't compare. Technically, I don't have either, since my Para 2 sprint is in the mail. I do have both in my hands rig...

Hi, Trying to bite the bullet and get a Para2. I can't handle one of the new Para2 models but have had the previous generation Para. How does the closed-blade retention compare between the Para2 and the previous model. Also, would you feel confident carrying tip-up without the blade resting against...

No worries. I am also convinced that there is going to be a CTS-XHP sprint at some point, maybe elmax, although I haven't heard anyone mention anything about either one. There is a Military in 2011 sprint catalog. Earth brown G10 CTS-XHP. It may be gone as well, i wouldn't know. :) If it didn't sho...
